Ingredients:

Oreo - 20 Biscuits
Powdered Sugar - 2 Tbsp
Baking powder - 1/2 Tsp
Baking soda - 1/4 Tsp
Milk - 1/2 Cup .
Method: • Pre heat the Idli cooker on medium flame for 10 mins.
• Grind the Oreo biscuits into a smooth powder.
• Take the Oreo powder in a bowl to that add powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda & milk.
• Give everything a good mix.
• Grease Idli moulds with oil.
• Now add 2 tbsp batter to idli moulds.
• Place Idli moulds in the Idli cooker.
• Close the lid and let it bake for 10 mins on medium flame.
• Enjoy your chocolate muffins with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream.💜

Dal Makhani is creamy, thick, yummy lentil recipe that is loved by people all over India! It is a soul food, you may say you don’t want it but you still end up savouring it. My way of making Dal Makhani is simple & the results will make you a pro at it.

Dal Makhani 🍲

Region: Punjab
Course: Main
Serves: 4-5

Ingredients:

1 Cup - Soaked Black Lentil
1/4 Cup - Rajma (Kidney Beans)
1/4 Cup - Butter
4-5 Cups - Water

For Tempering (Tadka) 1:
———————————
1/4 Cup - Ghee
1 tbsp - Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tbsp - Degi/Kashmiri Red chilli powder
2 tbsp - water
1 & 1/2 Cups - Tomato Puree
2 tbsp - Butter
Salt to Taste

For Tempering (Tadka) 2:

2 tbsp - Ghee
1 tbsp - Kasuri Methi (Fenugreek Leaves)
1 tbsp - Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
2 tbsp - Water
1/2 Cup - Cream

For Garnish:
——————
1 tbsp - Cream
Coriander leaves

Method:
————
* Wash and Soak Urad Dal (Whole Black Gram) & Rajma (Kidney Beans).
* In heavy bottom pan add Dal & Rajma along with 4-5 cups of water and let it cook for 45-50 mins on a low to medium flame.
* Once dal is cooked add 1/4 cup butter into it.

For Tempering (Tadka) 1:

* Heat ghee in a pan add ginger garlic paste, degi/kashmiri red chilli powder & fresh Tomato purée. Sauté till Tomato purée is well cooked.
* Add tempering to cooked dal.
* Add 1 Cup water to it and mash it.
* Add 2 tbsp butter and salt to it and cook until well combined.

For Tempering (Tadka) 2:

* Heat ghee in a Tadka pan, add Kasuri Methi (Fenugreek Leaves), Degi/Kashmiri Red chilli powder and 2 tbsp water.
* Add the tempering to the Dal and cook for 2-3 mins.
* Turn off the flame and add 1/2 cup Cream.
* Serve hot in a serving bowl and garnish with Cream and Coriander Leaves
* And Serve with Laccha Paratha or Roti or Naan.

Milk (full cream milk) : 1 Ltr
Coco powder : 4 Tbsp
Corn flour : 2 Tbsp
Milk for slurry : 1/2 cup
Sugar : 8 Tbsp

Fajeto (Mango kadhi)
Fajeto or Mango Kadhi is a Gujarati dish made using Yogurt, Chickpeas flour (besan), Ripe Mangoes. It was traditionally made using the seed of Ripe Mangoes to utilise all the pulp that is left after we eat it. Here is how to make this delicious recipe.

Ingredients:

1 cup - mango puree
1 cup - sour curd
3 cups - water
2 Tbsp - chickpeas flour (besan)
2 Tbsp - oil
1/2 Tsp - fenugreek seeds (methi seeds)
1/2 Tsp - mustard seeds (Sarson seeds/Rai)
1/2 Tsp - cumin (jeera seeds)
1/4 Tsp - asafoetida (hing)
1/2 inch - ginger
2 - green chillies
10-12 curry leaves
1/2 - turmeric powder
1 Tbsp sugar (as per your taste)
Salt to taste

For tempering:

1 Tbsp - ghee
1/4 Tsp - fenugreek seeds (methi)
1/4 Tsp - mustard seeds (sarson/rai)
1/4 Tsp - cumin seeds (jeera)

Instructions:

* Blend chickpeas flour, curd, ginger & green chillies in a blender to make a lump free paste.
* Heat oil in a pan.
* When the oil is hot, add fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds & asafoetida.
* Add curry leaves.
* Now add curd paste, keep the flame low.
* Add 3 cups of water, turmeric powder, salt & mango puree.
* Bring the fajeta (kadhi) to a boil.
* Simmer the heat and let the fajeta (kadhi) cook for almost 20-25 mins on low heat.

For tempering:

* Heat ghee in a small pan.
* When the ghee is hot, add fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds & cumin seeds.
* Fry for 8-10 seconds.
* Remove the pan from the heat.
* Add dry red chilli powder.
* Pour the tempering over the cooked fajeta (kadhi).
* Serve the fajeta (kadhi) with Rice.

Summer is perfect for coolers and slushes. Today we are gonna make watermelon cooler and slush. It has gorgeous colours and it just sings summer. The watermelon drinks are refreshing way to stay cool all summer long. While both the drinks cools you with the freshness of mint. They are super refreshing, hydrating and incredibly delicious🍹

Ingredients :

Watermelon : 2 cups
Sugar : 2 Tbsp
Lemon : 2 Tbsp
Mint : 2 Tbsp
Salt : 1/4 Tsp
Milk powder : 1 Tbsp
OR
Milk : 1/4 cup
Ice cubes : as required

Ingredients
�• 1 cup Plain yogurt chilled
�• 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
�• ½ teaspoon Black salt (Kala namak)
�• ¼ teaspoon Black pepper powder
�• ¼ teaspoon Red chili powder
�• Salt to taste
�• ¼ cup Onion (chopped)
�• ¼ cup Tomato (chopped)
�• 2 tablespoons Cucumber (chopped)
�• 2 tablespoons Capsicum (Green bell pepper) chopped
�• 1 tablespoon Cilantro or coriander leaves chopped finely
�• 2 teaspoons Mint leaves (chopped)
�• 1 small Green chili chopped finely

Method:

* Take chilled yogurt in a bowl and whisk till it gets smooth.
* Now add all the spice powder and salt. Mix well.�
* Add chopped vegetables, green chili and coriander, mint leaves. Stir well to combine.
* Remove it to a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves.

Right we jumped on Dalgona coffee trending this days in the absence of being able to go out to a coffee shop! Super easy to make by whisking 2 tbsp of coffee, 2 tbsp of sugar & 2 tbsp of boiling water to a thik airy blob which you plonk on top of iced milk. Sprinkle some cocoa powder on top. Ain’t gonna win any barista awards but it does look pretty cool and with coffee and that amount of sugar it’s like bleeding rocket fuel! .
