Busy RV Park is looking to hire an Administrative assistant to help both the finance and operations departments. Company head office is based out of Loretto, ON (just outside of Alliston) at one of the company owned parks.
Job description
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our company and who is truly loyal. Outgoing, and personable are a must, as you will be in communication with both the executive management team and residents/tenants of the parks. This is a Dual role, new hire will report directly to Director of Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Answering phones.
Responding to email inquiries.
Assist with Site tours for new potential campers
Assistance with cash collections and A/R on weekends.
Basic Bookkeeping (A/R & A/P) and Filing papers. Scan and post all receipts.
General Data Entry.
Manage all projects and admin tasks.
Perform other admin duties as required/requested by management.
Keep the office clean and tidy.
Must also be prepared to work flexible working schedules (if required; will vary depending on business needs). We are looking for someone willing to ideally work Wednesday-Sunday
Fully fluent in English Speaking, reading, and writing.

◇Duties & Responsibilities◇
Professional, courteous, and respectful conduct to all members of the public.
Dress in appropriate conservative clothing based on the activity, work and weather conditions.
Adhere to the duties of a worker outlined in the OHSA, Municipal Health & Safety Policy Manual, and relevant municipal policies and procedures.
Assist in the registration of campers, approve guests, collection of fees, setting up, cleaning & maintaining campground amenities such as bathrooms, showers, laundry.
Operate square payment system (training provided)
stock shelves in camp store, preform inventory counts weekly.
Handle, split & deliver firewood
Monitor and report contraventions of park rules & municipal bylaws.
Regular garbage and debris walks throughout park, emptying park garbage receptacles
Perform a variety of cleaning, janitorial, painting, grass cutting & raking, shoveling, planting, weeding, pruning and garbage pickup and disposal activities.
Erect and dismantle event tents, tables, chairs and other equipment.
Bending, pushing, twisting, pulling, and lifting motions during the performance of certain activities.
Other duties as assigned. Safety CSA Grade 1 safety footwear with ankle support is mandatory for all shift activities.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (e.g. reflective clothing, hearing, eye, hand and head protection) is required to be worn during certain activities.
☆Work Schedule☆
The expectation is to be available to work up to 44 hours a week end of June, months of July and August; which may include flexible hours, including evenings, regular weekends and long weekends.
Work planning and scheduling will be based on work demand, special events, weather, and other deciding factors.
