Healthy Blue Missouri officially opened its community welcome center at 272 S. Mt. Auburn Rd. (downstairs from McAlister’s Deli) in Cape Girardeau on July 25.

The celebration included a ribbon cutting, two check presentations, a clown, and refreshments provided by food trucks (barbecue and snow cones). Missouri State Sen. Holly Rehder spoke and signed complimentary copies of her autobiographical book, Cinder Girl.

We kicked off National Health Center Week with an amazing event! Thank you to all those who came to learn how critical integrated health care is for patients' overall health and well-being. Several elected officials and local health leaders took time from their busy schedules to visit with our FCHC team to discuss community health centers and our impact on our community.
