Just toured a custom forged wheel manufacturer and talked business for 3 hours. Didn't think I'd get this lucky and they have a 90 degree mill head I can incorporate into my designs.

I took video of the initial unboxing for my new big turbo project. It didn't go well... Episode 5 is up! https://youtu.be/gjLKKu5xiG0
Absolutely sick! 355.6x31.75mm rotors = 20.0lbs If they were 30mm thick (bad thing!) like the OE and Stoptech, they'd be 18.3lbs. I believe OE 340x30 are 22lbs. I estimate the 381x31.75mm rotors would be under 25lbs. I estimate imaginary 370x30mm rotors with my hat would be around 21.7lbs Also, the particular 6 piston caliper I'm installing including my radial mount bracket and pads is about 4lbs lighter than the M sport 4 piston. So my upgrade for the short term from the 340mm M sport is 6lbs per corner with bigger and thicker rotors.
The long dreamed about Youtube channel is live! Please subscribe and share, I have a lot of educational content planned around the projects I've been working on. I promise I'll try to be more entertaining in future videos. The first is all about the BC Racing coilover Turd Polishing Project so come see for yourself if $1,000 coilovers suck. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp70qjJ3jvVSuV7k4G19DdA
First weekend with Penske "Shockers" on the Kobalt Tools GRC rally car and no one was within a 1/2 second per lap all weekend.
