🚤 REGATTA ROUND UP! 🚤

It’s been 2 weeks since our Scaftworth Regatta and we want to thank everyone who attended! Raft entrants, spectators and our team - our event wouldn’t be what it is without you all!

All teams that took part were absolutely amazing, all their rafts, costumes (lack of for some teams🤣) looked great!

We had an incredible turnout of spectators, who helped cheer on all the teams and helped them push through to the finish line 🏁

Of course we can’t not mention the kids (and big kids😆) who helped drench the teams and get them ready for their race ahead. With the use of water squirting and water bombs, it’s safe to say all teams were feeling the love!

We want to thank everyone again for their continued support, and we can’t wait for next year 🎉

🪩 🍒 🐚 Who was partying in Ibiza with us last night?!

The incredible George Hudson brought the best of the Balearic spirit with his incredible DJ set.

🔥 fire breathers, stilt walkers, disco dancers, carnival dancers and the most talented party saxophonist made it a night to remember.

The efforts that we saw were really positive, and it’s made a massive difference to the mood of the event in the village.

Please remember the requests put in place so that this bike night can be as equally successful!

These include:
Anyone parking irresponsibly within the village will not be served at the event.

We have plenty of kickstand supports which will be available on entry to the garden and the parking field. The ground is well draining and dry, and so careless street parking just isn’t necessary.

When arriving and leaving, please do so with respect for our neighbours.

Thank you for your cooperation and support to enable us to make bike night a positive event for all.

🚤 RAFT RACE TOMORROW, BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY 🚤

It’s nearly my favourite day of the year!! Scaftworth Regatta Day!

Join us from 11am for our annual raft race! We have more than ten home built rafts, that will go through strict scrutineering, and launch at 2pm for a more than 1 MILE battle down the river idle to Bawtry!

Who will sink, and who will float!?

We will have refreshment station half way down the riverbank, a riverbank trailer taxi for those who can’t/don’t want to walk, stone baked pizzas, full bar, live music and a prize giving!

It really is the most fantastic day of the summer event calendar, and one not to be missed!

Oh, and it’s FREE ENTRY!!!
