Beyond grateful and excited that SwellAlumni Sara joined us on our Rote Island Surf & Yoga Retreat recently. 😄🙏🏽

After 4 years of not surfing due to health issues, Sara was able to surf again and here’s what she shared about her experience…

“The feeling you get - I can’t describe exactly but imagine feeling lifted up by the power of the waves, feeling strong and confident in your body and mind, explosions of serotonin and dopamine in your brain… adrenaline… it is a great feeling you cannot just experience by sitting on your sofa… it takes a lot of effort, courage and perseverance… and of course a good surf coach … encouraging new surf friends.

Growth doesn’t happen in your comfort zone. So get out of your sofa and try something new!”
