Wake up and slam your coffee... 3 cups usually does the trick. Lots of creamer and some sweetener of course.

When I first held my newborn daughter in my arms, my heart swelled with an indescribable love. But as I gazed down at her tiny face, I couldn't help but feel a pang of uncertainty ripple through me. It wasn't just the responsibility of caring for this precious life that weighed on my mind; it was also the daunting realization of what had happened to my body during pregnancy.
Before pregnancy, I was comfortable in my own skin. I had curves that I embraced and a confidence that radiated from within. But as the months passed and my belly swelled with the miracle of life, I found myself grappling with insecurities I had never known before. The weight gain was inevitable, but the toll it took on my self-esteem was unexpected.
After giving birth, I expected my body to bounce back effortlessly, just like the countless images of celebrities and influencers portrayed on social media. But reality hit me hard. My once firm stomach now sagged, stretch marks adorned my hips like battle scars, and the number on the scale seemed to mock me.
At first, I tried to ignore the changes, convincing myself that they were temporary. I threw myself into caring for my daughter, pouring all of my love and energy into her tiny being. But no matter how hard I tried to push my insecurities aside, they lingered like a dark cloud overhead, casting a shadow over my newfound joy of motherhood.
It wasn't until I found myself standing in front of the mirror, tears streaming down my face, that I realized I needed to confront my feelings head-on. I needed to embrace my postpartum body, not just for my sake, but for the sake of my daughter. I didn't want her to grow up with a mother who was constantly at war with her own reflection.
So, I made a conscious decision to change my mindset. Instead of focusing on the flaws, I chose to celebrate the strength and resilience of my body. It had carried and nurtured a new life for nine months, and that was no small feat. I started to see my stretch marks not as imperfections, but as a testament to the journey I had been on.
