In 2021, OWASP Top 10 list was out and as usual it has enlightened us about the most dangerous and potential vulnerabilities. And cryptographic failure (previously known as Sensitive Data Exposure) has occupied the second position in the list of Top 10 vulnerabilities.
So what is Cryptographic Failure Vulnerability ?

"Listed among the TOP 10 OWASP vulnerabilities", Authentication Bypass is a vulnerable point where criminals gain access to the application and get users sensitive information. It's a vulnerability that allows hackers to perform malicious activities by bypassing the authentication mechanism of the application.

"Listed among the TOP 10 OWASP Vulnerabilities in 2017".
IDOR is a type of access control vulnerability that arises when an application uses user-supplied input to access objects directly.

"Listed among the TOP 10 OWASP vulnerabilities", SQL Injection is a web security vulnerability that allows an attacker to interfere with the queries that an application makes to its database. It generally allows an attacker to view data that they are not normally able to retrieve.

Have you ever heard of the blue teaming or their mission?

Well this workshop was answering these two specific questions thanks to "MARGHIN Soulayman" who explained this important side of Cybersecurity during the workshop of "Cyber Defense".

Let's explain this concept briefly. Well, blue teaming works on defending against attacks and responds to incidents when they occur. They are responsible of finding vulnerabilities, strengthening network security and raise security awareness among the staff organization.

"Listed among the TOP 10 OWASP vulnerabilities". Local File Inclusion (LFI) is a web vulnerability that allows an attacker to unsolicitedly import desired files aiming to affect web applications and gain access to sensitive files.

One of the basics that every Cybersecurity student should know is "Linux fundamentals".

That's why our second formation, presented by "ZERDA Ayman", was basically about the most important and useful command lines. It was also a chance to explain some advanced methods that are used in Pentesting.

Our club proudly announces that this year's first workshop is successfully completed by "Ayman ZERDA", a second year cybersecurity student in "la Maison des Sciences de l'Oriental", under the theme "Cyber Security Roadmap".

Our junior fellows acquired the knowledge of the basics of cybersecurity, the sources from where they can find information and have learned the path they should follow to simplify their view of this long journey.
Finally, they toured the venue and discovered its various rooms.
