ANC TO LAUNCH FUNERAL POLICY SCHEME FOR ITS MEMBERS AND SUPPORTERS

Under the banner of ANC Membership Plus, the African National Congress (ANC) is to launch its own funeral policy scheme to benefit its members and supporter base.

With effect from end of July 2019, members and supporters will be approached to join the scheme which provides competitive rates and unique features. Some of these features include grocery vouchers on the annual anniversary date of the individual policies, automatic settlement of the annual ANC membership fees, free publications and a citizen’s advice desk. The product includes funeral cover for the whole family and for a small additional premium the extended family can be included as well. Various packages have been designed to accommodate both the movement’s entry level and more affluent members.

The product will be promoted via various marketing channels, including tele-call centres, social media and individuals dispatched to the various offices of the ANC throughout the country. This will enable members to get the personal attention and assistance they deserve.

The in-house nature of the scheme has, by reducing the external intermediary fees, enabled the ANC to provide a cost-effective scheme to the benefit of both the movement and its members.

The initiative is motivated by the desire to ensure that ANC members and supporters are, after a lifetime of sacrifice and under conditions of ever-escalating costs attached to the funeral industry, able to provide for a dignified burial of their loved ones.

The idea behind the sports foundation is to have an umbrella body of all sporting codes around Taung, a body that will endeavour to revive sports across all age groups and around the clock to highlight the needs of all sports people of Taung even trainers n coaches.
