Don’t be afraid to ask your Spray Tan Artist for the ingredients in their solution they use! You should know what goes on your body!

Full-body drying powder is one of my favorite parts of spray tanning! It completes the look and is the final step in the glow process.

I value amazing results waaayyy more than a $5 up charge, so drying powder will always remain free with me!

What is Drying Powder?
It keeps your spray tan from creasing, and helps with that post “sticky” feeling you may feel. It also adds a beautiful shimmer to your skin and smells ahhmaazing.
The best part? It’s only made from a few simple/organic ingredients!

Let’s talk post-spray attire 🗣

What to wear: Keep it simple!
✅ Do wear dark clothing- to avoid any visible bronzer that may transfer (although most are water-soluble and will rinse out!)
✅ Do wear loose long sleeve tops and pants (sweatsuits with flip flops are best!)

❌ Do not wear tight clothing- you’re tan might not develop in certain areas due to friction!
❌ Do not wear a dress! This may be an unpopular opinion, but I find it’s best to wear something that ensures your skin will not stick together which can can an uneven tan!

This is me 4 days post-spray! I was not lotion-ing or drinking enough water which lead to snake-like texture. Spray tans should last 7-10 days. This is why post-care is crucial in order to extend the life of your tan! I recommend applying lotion twice a day, morning and night (my favorites are Hemps and CereVe.) Water intake is still a tough one for me, but I’m working on it 🤪

The most important part after your spray is your first rinse! But don’t fret, as your Spray Tan Artist I will go over all instructions throughly to make sure your glow lasts as long as possible!

Here are your First Rinse Instructions:

💦 Make sure you shower in luke-warm water,hot water can strip your tan off.
🧼 Absolutely no soaps! This can deplete your color as the DHA in the solution is still developing up to 24 hours after your spray.
✋🏽Only use your hands to remove the bronzer, and focus your attention to your legs, behind your arms, in your ears, and around your nose, etc. The #1 cause for streaks is that the bronzer wasn’t rinsed off properly and can stain the skin for a few days, so it is important that the first rinse is thorough.
🧖🏾‍♀️Pat yourself dry with a soft towel. Continue to use this method, after every shower to avoid exfoliating off your tan.
