Prevent Plastics နဲ့ Thant Myanmar တို့ ပူးပေါင်းပြုလုပ်တဲ့ Youth for Environmental Action & Hope (YEAH Programme) ရဲ့ ပရိုဂရမ် Delegates လူငယ်များ ပြုလုပ်တဲ့ ပရောဂျက်များထဲက E ART H - Myanmar ကနေ ပြပွဲလေး ပြုလုပ်သွားမှာပါ။

“အနုပညာမှသည် မြေကမ္ဘာဆီ - သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ဆိုင်ရာအသိပညာပေးပြပွဲ (Art to Earth : Environmental awareness art exhibition & event)” လေးကို (၂) ရက်တာ ကျင်းပသွားမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

🌱 ဒီပြပွဲလေးကတော့ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အပေါ် လူငယ် Artist (၅)ဦးရဲ့ မတူညီတဲ့ရှုထောင့်များနဲ့ဖန်တီးထားတဲ့ အနုပညာလက်ရာများကို ပြသသွားမှာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ပြပွဲကို (၂၀၂၄) ခုနှစ်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီလ (၂၇) ရက်နဲ့ (၂၈) ရက်မှာ ပြသသွားမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ပွဲရက်များမှာလည်း mini pop-up market လေးသဖွယ် responsible business နဲ့ artists merchandise လေးများကလည်း လာရောက် ရောင်းချပေးသွားမယ့် အစီအစဉ်လည်းရှိပါတယ်။

ဒါ့အပြင် ဇန်နဝါရီလ (၂၈) ရက် (တနင်္ဂနွေနေ့) နေ့လယ် (၂:၀၀) နာရီမှ (၄:၀၀) နာရီမှာလည်း သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်၊ လူမှုအကျိုးစီးပွားနဲ့ အနုပညာဆိုင်ရာအကြောင်းအရာများကို ဆွေးနွေးပြောကြားသွားမယ့် “ ဆွေးနွေး အဖြေရှာ မြေကမ္ဘာ” စကားဝိုင်း Panel Discussion လေးတစ်ခုကို ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သွားမှာလည်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ (၂၀၂၃) ခုနှစ်၊ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ(၂၁) ရက်နေ့ မှာ YEAH delegates တွေရဲ့ Project အသီးသီးကို အဖွဲ့အလိုက် Turquoise Mountain Myanmar မှာ တင်ဆက်ပြသခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ပရောဂျက်များကို ဥရောပသမ္မဂ္ဂမှ တာဝန်ရှိသူများနှင့် Prevent Plastics ရဲ့ Team Leader Denis Schaefer ကလည်း လာရောက်အကဲဖြတ်ပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ လေ့လာခဲ့ကြတဲ့ (၃) လတာခရီးမှာ ကြိုးစားအားထုတ်မှုတွေနဲ့အတူ ရလဒ်အကျိုးဆက်‌ တွေလည်းပေါ်ထွက်လာခဲ့ပါပြီ။ တစ်ဖွဲ့ကို အဖွဲ့ဝင် လေး/ ငါးယောက်နဲ့ အဖွဲ့ ငါးဖွဲ့ ခွဲပြီး ပရောဂျက်‌တွေကို ကိုယ်စီ ကြိုးစားလျက်ရှိကြပါတယ်။

ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ (၂၀၂၃) ခုနှစ်ရဲ့ ပလတ်စတစ်ကင်းတဲ့ ဇူလိုင်ကို ဆင်နွှဲဖို့ Prevent Plastics Myanmar က Café Deja Brew နှင့်အတူ ကာဖီ၊ အအေးသောက်တဲ့အခါ ပလတ်စတစ်အမှိုက် မထွက်ရှိစေဖို့ ကမ်ပိန်းလေး စတင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

ပလတ်စတစ်ကင်းတဲ့ လူနေမှုစတိုင်ကို စတင်တော့မယ်ဆို ကိုယ့်နေ့စဉ်ဘဝမှာ တဖြည်းဖြည်းချင်း စတင်ပြောင်းလဲလို့ရပါတယ်။ အလွယ်ကူဆုံးကတော့ အအေးသောက်၊ ကော်ဖီသောက်တဲ့အခါ ပလတ်စတစ်ပိုက် မတပ်ဘဲ မော့သောက်ပြီး ပလတ်စတစ်ပိုက်ကို စတင်လျှော့ချလို့ ရပါတယ်။ စားသောက်တဲ့အခါ၊ ပါဆယ်ဝယ်တဲ့အခါ ဘူးခွံတွေကြောင့် ပလတ်စတစ်တွေ အထွက်များပါတယ်။

ယခုဆိုရင် ဒီလိုမျိုး သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကို ဂရုပြုတဲ့ ကာဖီယဉ်ကျေးမှု အလေ့အထလေးကို စတင်ခဲ့တာ အရွေ့တစ်ခုကို ရောက်ခဲ့ပါပြီ။ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ (၂၀၂၃) နှစ် တစ်နှစ်တာလုံးအတွက် Cafe Deja Brew ကဖေးမှ Bring Your Own Cup အလေ့အထလေးကို စတင်ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ကာ Take Away ပါဆယ်ခွက်ရေပေါင်း (၄၈၂) ခွက်ကို လျှော့ချပေးနိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ထို့အပြင် “ပိုက်မပေးဘူး မော့သောက်နော်” အစီအစဉ်လေးကြောင့်လည်း ကာစတန်မာများရဲ့ ပါဝင်ငြင်းဆိုမှုနဲ့ တစ်နှစ်တာလုံး ပိုက် အရေအတွက် (၂,၃၀၀) ခန့်ကို လျော့ချပေးနိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

Introducing the eco-friendly solution for restaurant food packaging needs - areca food containers made from areca leaves. These containers are not only environmentally friendly but also a healthier option compared to Styrofoam boxes, which can be harmful when exposed to heat.
As part of our mission to reduce plastic usage and promote sustainable alternatives, Prevent Plastics and its project partner Thant Myanmar organised the training on areca box making. The training covered technical aspects and even provided machine rental options for those interested in starting their own business without a significant investment. The response was overwhelming, with over 400 registrants and 40 in-person attendees at our venue partner, Turquoise Mountain Myanmar. Turquoise Mountain, founded in 2006 by His Majesty King Charles III, is dedicated to reviving historic areas and traditional crafts and providing jobs and skills where cultural heritage is under threat. Turquoise Mountain is currently operating in Afghanistan, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, and the Levant.
The charity was set up in Myanmar in 2016, initially focusing on the restoration of historic buildings in downtown Yangon, promoting traditional crafts like weaving, goldsmithing, and lacquerware production, and fostering arts education and economic development in artisan communities. Turquoise Mountain supports the sales of traditional Myanmar crafts to international markets and showcases the artisans' work on a global stage through a blend of exhibitions, creative and academic partnerships, and campaigns.
Sixty participants join us via Zoom calls to learn the steps of areca-making and share ideas. And for those who couldn't join us due to participant limitations, the training recording will be shared so that everyone can gain knowledge about this production.
We want to express our gratitude to U Kyaw Kyaw Moe and his team at M Treasure for their tireless dedication to promoting eco-friendly alternatives and their efforts to replace plastic packaging with areca packaging. M Treasure also generously supported this training to expand the availability of areca products in Myanmar.

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ နေ့စဉ် အသုံးပြုနေတဲ့ (ထုတ်၊သုံး၊ပစ်) Linear Economy ကြီးဟာ ကမ္ဘာမြေကြီးနဲ့ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ လူသားအားလုံးကို အလွန်အင်မတန် ထိခိုက်စေပါတယ်။ Linear Economy တစ်သမတ်စီးပွားရေးစနစ် ဆိုတာက ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ရဲ့ ကမ္ဘာမြေကြီးထံမှ သယံဇာတ(ကုန်ကြမ်း) တွေကို ထုတ်ယူ (take)၊ ပစ္စည်းတွေ ထုတ်လုပ် (make)ပြီး နောက်ဆုံးမှာ စွန့်ပစ်အမှိုက် (dispose) အဖြစ်သို့ ရောက်ရှိ‌သွားတဲ့ တစ်သမတ်သွား စီးပွားရေးစနစ် ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ထုတ်လုပ်မှု များလာတာနဲ့အမျှ သယံဇာတအရင်းအမြစ်တွေ လုံလောက်မှု မရှိတော့ဘဲ တစ်ဖက်မှာလည်း သုံးစွဲမှု များလာတဲ့အတွက် စွန့်ပစ်အမှိုက်တွေဟာ များသထက်များပြားလာပါတယ်။ ဒါ‌တွေဟာ စက်မှုတော်လှန်ရေး စတင်ကတည်းက ဖြစ်ခဲ့တာ‌ဆိုတော့ နှစ်ပေါင်း (၂၀၀) ကျော်လောက်ရှိခဲ့ပါပြီ။ ဒါပေမဲ့ အခုအချိန်မှာ သင့်အနေနဲ့ Circular Economy စက်ဝိုင်းပုံဆောင်စီးပွားရေး နဲ့ ထိန်းသိမ်းလို့ ရပါသေးတယ်။

Circular economy ဆိုတာ ဘာလဲ

Circular Economy စက်ဝိုင်းပုံဆောင် စီးပွား‌ရေးစနစ် ဆိုတာ Linear Economy တစ်သမတ်စီးပွားရေးစနစ် ရဲ့ ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ပါ။ အသုံးပြုပြီး ပစ္စည်းများကို အမှိုက်ပုံထဲသို့ လွှင့်ပစ်မယ့်အစား ပြန်လည်ပြုပြင်ခြင်း (repair)၊ အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ခြင်း(upgrade)၊ ပြန်လည်ထုတ်လုပ်ခြင်း (remanufacture) စတဲ့အရာတွေကို လုပ်ဆောင်ပြီး ပစ္စည်းရဲ့တန်ဖိုးနဲ့ အသုံးဝင်မှုကို သက်တမ်းရှည်ကြာအောင် ထိန်းသိမ်းပေးတဲ့ စီးပွားရေးစနစ် ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် ပြန်လည်အသုံးပြုသည့် လမ်းစဉ်တစ်လျှောက် ပစ္စည်းမှာပါဝင်တဲ့ အက်တမ်နဲ့မော်လီကျူး‌တွေကို မူလတန်ဖိုးအတိုင်း သန့်စင်နေအောင် ထိန်းသိမ်းပေးတဲ့ စီးပွားရေးစနစ်လည်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် Circular Economyမှာ (waste )စွန့်အပစ်အမှိုက် ၁ရာခိုင်နှုန်းတောင် မရှိပါဘူး။ ဥပမာ- သင်က အအေးတစ်ပုလင်းဝယ်သောက်လိုက်တယ်ဆိုပါစို့၊ အဲဒီ အအေးပုလင်းကို အမှိုက်ပုံးထဲ မလွှင့်ပစ်ဘဲ ပြန်လည်အသုံးပြုတာမျိုး ဒါမှမဟုတ် ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်တဲ့အခါ ပလတ်စတစ်အိတ်မယူဘဲ ကိုယ်ပိုင်အိတ်နဲ့သာ ဈေးဝယ်ထွက်တာမျိုး၊ နောက်ပြီး ထုတ်ပိုးပြင်ဆင်ထားတဲ့ ပစ္စည်းတွေကို မဝယ်တာတွေဟာ Circular Economy ကိုကျင့်သုံးတဲ့ အလေ့အထ‌ပါပဲ။

Circular Economyရဲ့ Founding Father တစ်ဦးဖြစ်တဲ့ Dr. Walter Stahel ဟာ Circular Economy ဟာ Caring Economy ပါလို့ ပြောပါတယ်။

ဒါဆို ဘာကြောင့် Caring Economy လို့ပြောရတာလဲ

စက်မှုလုပ်ငန်းတွေ မတိုးတက်သေးခင် ထုတ်ချင်တိုင်း ထုတ်လို့မရတဲ့ကာလမှာ လူတွေဟာ မိမိပစ္စည်းကိုသာ အလေးထားသုံးစွဲခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ထိုသို့ အလေးထားသုံးစွဲခြင်း‌ဖြင့် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ရဲ့ သယံဇာတများကို အလေအလွင့်မရှိစေဘဲ ရေရှည်တည်တံ့ခိုင်မြဲစေပါတယ်။ ဒီလို သယံဇာတများကို ထိန်းသိမ်းပေးခြင်းဟာ Economy တစ်ခုလုံးကို ဂရုစိုက်ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့ကြောင့် "Circular Economy is the Caring Economy" လို့ပြောရခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ယခုအခါမှာ Circular Economy စက်ဝိုင်းပုံဆောင်စီးပွားရေး ပိုမိုတွင်ကျယ်လာစေဖို့
-တစ်ပတ်လည် အသုံးပြုနိုင်သော ထုတ်ကုန်/ဝန်ဆောင်မှု ပုံစံရေးဆွဲခြင်း၊
- မုန့်ပဲသရေစာတွေ ဝယ်စားတဲ့အခါမှာ ပလတ်စတစ် ဇွန်းခရင်းအစား အကုန်လုံး ဝါးစားလို့ရတဲ့ ဇွန်းခရင်းတွေ၊
-ဆပ်ပြာရည်ဘူး၊ ခေါင်းလျှော်ရည်ဘူး စတဲ့ထုတ်ပိုးမှုပါတဲ့အရာတွေအစား အခဲလုပ်ပြီးအသုံးပြုတာတွေ ၊
-အင်္ကျီအသစ်တွေ၊ အရုပ်အသစ်‌တွေဝယ်မဲ့အစား ငှားရမ်းလဲလှယ် အသုံးပြုလို့ရတဲ့ ဝန်ဆောင်မှုတွေ၊
-ပျက်စီးနေတဲ့ပစ္စည်းတွေကို ပြန်လည်ပြုပြင်ပေးတဲ့ဆိုင်တွေ စသည်တို့ကို တီထွင်ဖန်တီး လာကြပါပြီ။

အဓိက သိထားရမှာကတော့ Circular Economy စက်ဝိုင်းပုံဆောင် စီးပွားရေးစနစ်မှာ 3Rs (Reduce,Reuse, Recycle) ဆိုတဲ့ အရေးကြီးတဲ့ ကဏ္ဍသုံးရပ် ပါဝင်ပါတယ်။ Reduce and Reuse က အထက်မှာပြောခဲ့သလို စွန့်ပစ်ပစ္စည်း လုံးဝ မထွက်စေဘဲ ကျင့်သုံးရ လွယ်ကူလွန်းလှပါတယ်။ Recycle ကကျတော့ 3Rs ထဲမှာ ပါသော်ငြားလည်း Waste အနည်းငယ် ထွက်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ Plastic Recycling လုပ်မယ်ဆိုရင် (၆) ရာခိုင်နှုန်းကနေ (၉) ရာခိုင်နှုန်းလောက်ထိ waste ထွက်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ အကောင်းဆုံးကတော့ တတ်နိုင်သလောက် လျှော့ချပြီး ပြန်လည်အသုံးပြုခြင်းပါပဲ။
