Our Story
Better Together, Better Myanmar was established in February 2019 as a campaign by Mosaic Myanmar to further reinforce the organizations’s mandate to work towards as a society in which everyone can participate. The movement aims to encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together, engage in meaningful dialogue, and ultimately work towards realizing social cohesion, pluralism and religious inclusion. Through Better Together, Better Myanmar, Mosaic Myanmar actively works to support, reinforce, and promote these pillars by facilitating and championing discussion-based forums at the individual level, the intra-community level, and the inter-community level. The campaign involves community dialogue, learning programs, and panel discussions that empower marginalized communities and equip individuals with the knowledge and skillset to to work towards national harmony. The campaign has already reached thousands of people from around the country who, thanks to Better Together, Better Myanmar, have gained a greater understanding of the importance of not only respecting diversity, but celebrating it.
