After a long slumber due to COVID, C.A.R.E is finally back to what we always love to do. And that is to make the society a better place for everyone to live in. CARE, first founded in May 2018, is a student-based volunteer organization. We aim to work together as a team to give a hand to those in need, whoever and wherever they are. We also aim to raise awareness on a greener, cleaner environment of our members and ohr community.

First founded by Thin Thinzar Soe, CARE is now an independent community of around 70 students who are passionate about community service. CARE holds monthly regular donation and fundraising events. With more excited projects coming soon, inbox our page for futher information 🙌🏻

On 11th of January, 2020 CARE went on a donation trip to an orphanage called ဓမ္မိကာယမကျောင်းတိုက် and donated raw food materials such as rice and oil, and also 200,000 kyats to use in school necessities.

It was a great experience for volunteering students to travel to Bagan Taung Su Village which is 1hour and 30mins drive from Yangon. The students wandered around the campus as they got there and asked the locals about the education of students living there. We find out that there are 200 orphans living and learning under the school and in addition, there is 100 outside local students attending at the school. It was a wonderful donation trip that gave us a handful of knowledge and it was such an honor to help raise children’s education in small villages while having an enjoyable time.

လွန်ခဲ့သောအပတ် စနေနေ့ (၁၁.၁.၂၀၂၀) တွင် CARE မှကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူများသည် ပုဂံတောင်စုကျေးရွာရှိ ဓမ္မိကာယာမစာသင်ကျောင်းတိုက်သို့ လိုအပ်သည်များကို သွားရောက်လှူဒါန်းခဲဲ့ကြရာ ကျောင်းတွင်နေထိုင်သူ ကိုရင် နှင့် သီလရှင်လေးများအပါအဝင် ကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူပေါင်း ၃၀၀ကျော် လာရောက်စာလေ့လာဆည်းပူးကြသည်ကိုသိခဲ့ရပါသည်။ ရန်ကုန်မြို့မှ ၁နာရီခွဲခန့်ဝေးကွာလှသော ထိုစာသင်ကျောင်းလေးအတွက် CARE မှအလှူရှင်များက ဆန်၊ဆီ နှင့် မုန့်အမျိုးမျိုးအပြင် ကျောင်းအတွက်လိုအပ်သည့်နေရာများတွင်သုံးစွဲနိုင်ရန် ကျောင်းထိုင်ဆရာတော်အား ဝတ္ထုငွေ ၂၀၀,၀၀၀ ကပ်လှူခဲ့ပါသေးသည်။ ထို့အပြင် CARE မှကျောင်းသားများသည် စာသင်ကျောင်းအား မြို့ခံဆရာမများအကူအညီဖြင့်လှည့်ပတ်ကြည့်ရှူလေ့လာခဲ့ကြ၍ ကျေးရွာစာသင်ကျောင်းများ​၏ အနေအထားနှင့် စာသင်ကြားပုံကိုလည်း စနစ်တကျသိရှိခွင့်ရခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

We are going to an orphanage to donate things such as money, books and toys to the children out there. 🙌👶

ယနေ့ CARE အဖွဲ့သည် Clean Yangon ၏ ၃၂ ကြိမ် မြောက် Clean Campaign ကို ဝန်ကြီးများရုံးအနီးတစ်ဝိုက် တွင်ပါဝင်ကျင်းပခဲ့ပါသည်။

On 04.11.2019, C.A.R.E Volunteering Organization, together with Myanmar Youth Leadership Program 2019, planted a total of 300 trees at Eain Mae Town (အိမ်မဲမြို့) with the help of Myanmar Forestry Association. The event took place at two locations: အခြေခံမူလတန်းကျောင်း ဆင်ဆိပ်ကျေးရွာ အိမ်မဲမြို့နယ်, and မိုးမြင့်ကြယ်စင် မူလတန်းကျောင်း ပါရမီဒေါင့်ရွာမ အိမ်မဲမြို့နယ်. The event wouldn’t be accomplished without the great enthusiasm and help of the locals and the townsmen, which was the key factor for the success of this event. Much thanks to the principals of the အခြေခံမူလတန်းကျောင်း ဆင်ဆိပ်ကျေးရွာ အိမ်မဲမြို့နယ် and
မိုးမြင့်ကြယ်စင် မူလတန်းကျောင်း, who also had the same vision with us: to provide shady playgrounds to their students and shelter for birds in the region. Much thanks to the enthusiasm of the townsmen for preparing local sticky rice for the guests since 3am in the morning. It was such a great pleasure working with MFA and the villagers, and we hope to plant more trees in the future all throughout Myanmar, as trees are much needed for our planet especially at this moment.

On 3rd Nov 2019, CARE visited
Myittar Paraheta Gayar, located in Mayangyung village, Hlegu. When we first stepped onto the quiet and peaceful ground after a 2-and-a-half hour car ride, we were warmly greeted by the head committe member of the elderly home. As a villager working as a volunteer at the age of 60, he explained that all the elderly here are disabled, 18 of them suffering from stroke and other choronic diseases. We couldn’t wait to meet the grandmas and grandpas as we quickly packed the things we were going to donate: Sayarkho, soy milk, family care soap and 1000MMK in a cute plastic basket for each elderly. As we pass out these baskets, we get to greet all the elders and ask them how they are feeling. It was a heart-touching moment to see their happiness and joy from our visit. Afterwards, we donated 12000MMK for Kahtain and 25000MMK for medicine.
In total, we have donated 321500 MMK thanks to all our donars. We hope to visit Myittar paraheta gayar again. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
၃/၁၁/၂၀၁၉ တွင် CARE သည် မရမ်းချောင် ကျေးရွာ၊ လှည်းကူးမြို့ရှိမေတ္တာပရဟိတဂေဟာသို့ သွားရောက်လုပ်အားပေးလှူဒါန်း ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ၂နာရီခွဲကြာ ကားစီးပြီးနောက် အေးချမ်းသာရာသော ဂေဟာဝင်းထဲသို့ရောက်ရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။ နီးစပ်ရာရွာမှ အသက် ၆၀ ပြည့်ပြီဖြစ်သာ်လည်း ပရဟိတစေတနာဖြင့် တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်နေသော ဂေဟာမှုး ကနွေးထွေးစွာ ကြိုဆိုခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဂေဟာမှ အဖိုးအဖွားများက မသန်စွမ်း များဖြစ်ကြပါတယ်။ နာတာရှည်ရောဂါ နှင့် လေဖြတ်ထားသော သူ ၁၈ဦး ရှိပါတယ်။ အဖိုးအဖွားတစ်ဦးစီအတွက် plastic ခြင်းလေးထဲမှာ ဆရာခိုတစ်ဘူး၊ ပဲနို့၊ family care ကိုယ်တိုက်ဆပ်ပြာ နှင့် ၁၀၀၀ကျပ်စီထည့်၍ လှူဒါန်းခဲ့ပါသည်။ CARE အဖွဲ့သားများလည်း အဖိုးအဖွားများရဲ့ အပြုံးများကိုတွေ့ခဲ့ရ ၍ ဝမ်းသာပီတိဖြာခဲ့ရပါတယ်။

CARE joined the Global Climate Strike which took place not only in Yangon, Myanmar but also in the world. This was an important movement for the citizens of Myanmar of all age, reminding the government and authorities that immediate action must be taken. We cannot ignore the fact that temperatures are increasing 🌡, sea levels are rising 🌊, and ultimately, climate is changing. We can't just sit down and watch our only home, planet Earth burn and suffering 🔥. However, we cannot act alone either. Today is the day where we raise an alarm saying, “Despite nationalities, race, religion or citizenship, we are all human beings. Despite socioeconomic differences, we are all human beings living on Earth. This is the time for us to hold hands and save our home before it is too late 🙌🏻🌏🌳." Let’s make our planet Earth healthy and green again!

Today is world cleanup day 2019! It is a very important reminder that we need to be responsible for our home, planet Earth 🌏
As humans, we consume a lot of energy and produce a lot of waste. We take our home for granted. But we should do this no more. ❌Since we are all living on the same planet, it’s time to join our hands to clean up the mess we made, for the betterment of our future generations. 🙌🏻🙌🏻Stop pollution before its too late!

Yesterday, CARE participated in Clean Yangon’s 28th clean campaign at Myaynigone

For today’s Clean Yangon Clean Campaign in Myay Ni Gone, this event is new for some members. Thus, it is decided that we will meet first at American University of Yangon (11A, inya road) at 2:30pm first. Afterwards, we will go together to myay ni gone bridge.
Please remember to bring umbrella in case it rains. Also, wear comfortable cloths. See you all there!

Today, we visited Shwe San Pin Sayardaw’s monastery. To support the victims of recent heavy floods, C.A.R.E volunteering organization donated 240,000 MMKs. Thank you to all the generous donors who supported for the flood victims. Moreover, we would like to warmly thank Myit Shwe Wah Company Ltd, for donating 140,000 MMKs. Sayardaw and his volunteering team have bought many rice bags, noodles, blankets and mosquito nets to donate to flood victims in Mawlamyine, Yale and so on.
