Amongst other topics, common ground on professional ethics was covered in a discussion between Malta Interior Design (MIDA) former President, Interior architect Davina Preca and Founder & CEO of MJMDA, Arch. Matthew J. Mercieca.

The position for professionals to fairly represent their fees and efforts in an open and transparent manner, in order to drive quality outcomes within the profession was the main topic of discussion. This helps elevate the awareness of customers with regards to the effort and resources necessary to execute tasks professionally within the industry.

A presentation of MJMDA's recent publication MJMDA TWENTY YEARS was presented to complement MIDA's library. The book is available from MJMDA’s Online Shop or Agenda Bookshops.

At an impassioned discussion between the President of the MCCM Mr. Jesmond Chetcuti & MJMDA's Founder & CEO Arch. Matthew J. Mercieca, the importance of Project Management and skilled project managers was discussed. Elevating the level of training in people to reach higher standards of quality in building ex*****on is a shared aim by both organisations. A presentation of MJMDA's recent publication MJMDA TWENTY YEARS, wherein many project managers participated to make them a reality, was presented to complement MCCM's library.

Engaging conversation unfolded at a meeting with COE Membership Secretary Simon Abela and Founder & CEO of MJMDA Matthew J. Mercieca. After delving into topics such as Project life cycle, integrated design, future collaborations as well as MJMDA’s vision of Architecture as One, the meeting concluded with the presentation of MJMDA’s TWENTY YEARS to enrich COE’s library.

From our Freedom Jam and 5-a-side football matches to the 5-Voices workshop, ESG Event, Camper experiences, MJMDA TWENTY anniversary celebration, book launch, and the festive Christmas Event – it's been a truly remarkable year!

A heartfelt thank you to all stakeholders for contributing to a year filled with memories and achievements.

A cordial meeting between KTP president Architect Andre Pizzuto and Architect Matthew James Mercieca, opened up discussion around key topics of importance as KTP was presented with a copy of MJMDA’s TWENTY YEARS for its library

Before giving the material to Box-Design Graphic Designers to come up with the fabulous finished product, we went through an arduous task of sifting through 600 projects in order to hand-pick a short list of 60 projects that were showcased in our 20 year publication. It ultimately paid off!

Shreya Sharma was tasked to prepare and organise the content under founder Matthew J. Mercieca’s supervision and took our light fitting book sleeve design through the initial steps of the prototyping. Furthermore, the Jammers team all chimed in with valuable feedback on the prints which Matthew was personally working on and putting together.

That magical time of the year is back as the Jammers come together to celebrate the season together with their achievements and hard work with team spirit and fun. Merry Christmas to all from the Jammers!

MJMDA’s Founder & CEO Matthew James Mercieca has been called to action to share his experience and expertise by serving on the Kamra tal-Periti (Chamber of Architects) Council at its 103rd AGM at Trident Park as Business Administrator.

Matthew said “I hope to make a contribution to the wellbeing of people in council as well as the financial sustainability of KTP. Too often I have seen supremely committed professionals sacrifice their time, energy, finances and also wellbeing in the service of society. Whilst this is commendable, it is not positively contributing to keep up with the pace of accelerating deliverables of the KTP as established by its legal function.”

In a visit to the Chamber of Commerce, our Founder & CEO was welcomed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce Mr. Chris Vassalo Cesareo for a brief discussion on current affairs. A copy of MJMDA TWENTY YEARS, the recently launched book highlighting MJMDA’s architectural projects since its inception, was also gifted to the CoC library. It was great to see the restoration of the original bar coming together as well as attending a talk about maintaining energy efficiency in building renovation.
