The Montecristo Open Master is a beautifully constructed ci**rs. The wrapper has a velvety texture. When squeezed, the cigar has a slight give, suggesting a tight pack on the filler to***co.

It is a quite mild cigar with flavors evenly matched between mild sweetness, bitterness, and spiciness. On the nose initial impression of almonds, light pepper, yeast and coffee. The retro hale is where most of the flavor resides, primarily in the form of spice and toasted bread.
