Designer:

Quevin, now known as “El Chino Loco” since his stay in the Dominican Republic, is the driving force behind promoting traditional bachata in Malta. He initially started with Bachata Moderna, but his curiosity led him to embrace the passion of Dominican culture and its instruments. This is what he is trying to do at pushing for a Bachata Dominicana Academy starting from 2024.

As the organizer of the second edition of Malta Bachata Escape, he brings together the best bachata artists and instructors, selected through his discerning eyes, to ensure people have the best possible weekend in February.

Designer

Emilio and Serap have emerged this year as the perfect couple, embracing the bachata influence style. However, their background is equally impressive, each having owned dance schools – Emilio in Italy and Serap managing the largest SBK school in Malta, Connexion Studio.

As organizers of festivals, they have taken charge of the Malta Bachata Escape 23rd edition and the Malta Sensual Weekend Their connection and interpretation of music are nothing short of phenomenal. We are incredibly fortunate to have them in Malta.

Marco Paciok , our fantastic Italian salsa and bachata dancer here in Malta. He co-organized the first edition of Malta Bachata Escape and the Malta Sensual Weekend in 2023.

Marco is renowned for his incredible footwork, outstanding musicality, and impressive men styling. In addition to his dancing prowess, he’s also a familiar face as our local DJ. Rest assured, he’ll be setting the perfect ambiance for the night with the greatest bachata songs throughout the weekend.
