Keeping the pressure inside your eyes at a normal level is important because it helps to protect your eyesight. If the pressure gets too high, it can harm the optic nerve, which is the nerve that sends images to your brain. It would hence lead to vision problems or even blindness. Hence, maintaining a normal IOP is crucial for a healthy eye.

Intraocular pressure is the pressure inside of your eyes. Just like the air pressure in a balloon keeps in inflated, the fluids inside your eyes create pressure to keep its shape. It the eye pressure is too high, it can damage the optic nerve, leading to conditions such as glaucoma. Regular eye examination helps you to monitor the eye pressure and keep your eyes healthy. Nowadays, we are hooked up on the screen for more than 8 hours per day for work. Sometimes, we even have 2 screens or more🤓...
