About Us: Prodivers Maldives is a premier dive operator in the Maldives, boasting six dive bases across some of the most breathtaking islands in the region. Our dedicated team is passionate about the ocean and strives to deliver unparalleled diving and snorkeling experiences for our guests.
Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and energetic Social Media Content Creator to join our team at Kuredu Island Resort. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind our online presence, crafting compelling content that showcases the mesmerizing underwater world and our top-notch services. If you're enthusiastic about diving, have a talent for creating engaging content, and dream of living in paradise, this opportunity is tailor-made for you!

Key Responsibilities:
* Content Creation: Develop and produce captivating content (photos, videos, and posts) that highlights our diving adventures, marine life, and resort lifestyle.
* Social Media Management: Oversee our social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring a consistent and vibrant presence.
* Collaboration: Work closely with our dive instructors and underwater photographers to capture and share the essence of the Prodivers experience.
* Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and technologies to keep our content fresh and innovative.
* Promotional Campaigns: Assist in creating and executing promotional campaigns and special offers to boost traffic and bookings.

Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Content Creator or similar role, ideally within the travel, hospitality, or diving sectors.
* Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing your content creation skills, including photography, videography, and editing.
* Social Media Expertise: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
* Diving Certification: Minimum Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent.
* Passion: Enthusiasm for diving and marine conservation.
* Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote island setting.
* Flexibility: Comfortable living and working in a multicultural environment.

What We Offer:
* Contract: 1-year contract.
* Work Permit: Provided by the company.
* Accommodation: Single staff area accommodation at Kuredu Island Resort.
* Meals: 3 meals a day included.
* Leave: 2 weeks leave after 6 months, and 1.5 months leave upon contract completion.
* Incredible Environment: Live and work on a stunning island, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life.

SEAHORSE! In Jawakara Maldives lagoon 💛

This little seahorse stayed in Jawakara's lagoon for almost 2 weeks giving our guests and dive team a lot of time to go and visit.

Now, due to storms and strong currents the wreck has slowly broken into the sea. We can still dive it however it is not as easily spotted as before 😜

We are looking for:

German/Frech/Spanish speaking instructor (couples may apply)
Written and spoken fluency in English
Beginners are welcome !
Team players
Social and outgoing personalities
Commitment for at least one year
PADI OWSI or higher in active teaching status
Enriched Air Nitrox Instructor (or willing to become)
Valid DAN PRO insurance (or equivalent)
Open to work in a 4-star resort environment

That first dive EVER feeling.

Do you remember your first dive ever?

This weekend we are joining in on SEAC´s green initiative to show what we are doing at our different bases to try and make a difference every day.

From beach, ocean, dive and snorkel cleanups to reusable materials, we aim to be greener, cleaner dive centres focused on the future of our planet.

We encourage you to share pictures of what. you have done with us or on your own to take care of our blue planet!

On this World Sea Turtle Day we want to highlight one of the dangers sea turtles face in our oceans. This happens all too often but the good thing is Lhaviyani has its very own sea turtle hospital.

Turtles that become stuck in floating ghost nets like this one often develop buoyancy problems, become dehydrated and need medical care for wounds inflicted while struggling to de-tangle themselves.

However, thanks to volunteers and organisations protecting sea turtles many of them do eventually recover from their injuries and get released into the wild again.

Do you see anyone you know?

Look closely in an anemone and you'll often times find baby clownfish but look even closer and you may even find this resident: The short head anemone shrimp (Periclimenes brevicarpalis).

We have even seen them with eggs on the abdomen!
