National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM) Executive Director visited Fambauone Youth Organisation today on 6th June, 2024 at our Office in Chikwawa. Our National Youth Council Executive Director Mr Rex Chapota encourages FAYO staff to continue working for the benefit of young people with and without disabilities

Fambauone Youth Organisation presenting an advocacy based project to Technical Working Group on Climate change and Environment. This project will be addressing issues concerning the rights of persons with disabilities in the context of climate change risk reduction and adaptation in Chikwawa District. Disability Rights Fund (DRF) is committed to support FAYO to address issues that affect Malawi as a Country and Chikwawa as a District. People with disabilities more especially the youths during disasters, face challenges twice than those without disabilities.

Anali akugona kapena? Akulimbananso ndi munthu oti za Fambauone anazisiya kalekale kufuna kuti amuchotse malo omwe akuphunzitsa chifukwa choti ndi pa mpingo pawo, ndizoona izi. Ndikufuna ndiwauze a mpingo wa Katolika apa Bereu kuti siyani kulimbana ndi Mr Winston Mhango za malo a Fambauone chifukwa sizikumukhudza munthuyi izi. Bwerani ku ofesi ya bungweli mudzafotoze nkhawa zanu, tinve mbali yanu tikuthandizeni osati kumapanga zinthu zakumbali. Mukumenya nkhondo yoti mukhala zakazaka osaiwina nkhaniyi chifukwa simukulimbana ndi ife koma mukulimbana ndi mafumu.

With support from ArtGlo Health Africa and The District Youth Office, Fambauone will make sure that there is social mobilisation among our communities towards ending GBV

VSLA women groups trained on how could they best handle their finances. This has been done with funding from Art Global Health with a purpose of ending violences against women and girls in GVH Chambuluka. We had 3 VSLA groups, 5 participants from each group attended the training which was conducted by Fambauone Youth Organisation at FAYO's Office on 25th March 2022. We had partners from Tiyamike Youth Organisation and Social Welfare Office.
