On Friday 5th May, 2023- 2 Wheels 2 School together with our partner Airtel Malawi handed over bicycles, school bags and exercise books to students at Mitundu Community Day Secondary school in Lilongwe which we have been supporting with schools fees for the past 3 years since the launch of our project.

Our representative Stanley Loma was part of the team that went to Lilongwe to motivate and encourage these students to keep working hard as we continue supporting them.

to last week when our team and partners 2 Wheels 2 School Project visited Chikonde CDSS and donated tuition fees, bicycles, books and bags to empower them for the future.

Our project manager was part of the team that went to Neno to motivate and encourage these students to keep working hard as we continue supporting them.

Airtel Malawi in partnership with Two Wheels to School project has handed over bicycles, school bags, exercise books and pledged to pay school fees for star performers at Chikonde Day Secondary school in Neno.

Airtel Malawi's Assistant Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, Veronica Ngulube said her company believes in quality education hence making the donation to motivate the learners.

Stuart Kambewa, from Two Wheels to School project underscored the need for learners to be passionate about education saying, it opens opportunities in life. The project has procured 50 bicycles to be distributed to ten schools.

2 Wheels 2 School Project is pleading with well wishers who can support the initiative as we continue supporting students across Malawi.

The project works towards supporting the underprivileged students who do not have access to quality education due to financial and mobility constraints. The project aims to solve this education inequality by paying students' school fees and providing bicycles to those who walk long distances to a access schools.

Currently, the project is operating in 10 secondary schools across the country with 100 beneficiaries who have been supported with the provision of school fees, bicycles, notebooks and bags.

We aspire to support more students in different schools across Malawi with the help of well wishers from all corners of the country and beyond.

This project is supported by well wishers and dedicated individuals who come up with different fundraising challenges or events to support and ensure its sustainability.

Today Thursday, July 22, 2021, 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT and AIRTEL MALAWI are at Chankhomi Community Day Secondary School in Rumphi, the northern district of Malawi where students being supported by the 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT will get school bags, notebooks and bicycles, apart from the school fees which was already paid. The project is supporting 100 students across the the country in 10 districts of Nsanje, Blantyre, Neno, Dedza, Lilongwe, Dowa, Ntchisi, Mzimba, Rumphi and Karonga. The project is supporting these students to the end of their secondary school level.

Tomorrow Friday June 11, 2021 is a big day for 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT and our partner AIRTEL MALAWI.

We are heading to Kadabwako Community Day Secondary School in Nsanje district to support students earmarked to benefit from the 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT.

The project is paying school fees, providing notebooks, school bags, and bicycles to help students who walk long distances to and from school.

The project is supporting 100 students across Malawi in 10 districts namely Nsanje, Blantyre, Neno, Dedza, Lilongwe, Dowa, Ntchisi, Mzimba, Rumphi and Karonga.

This week 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT Team met 20 students in Lilongwe and Dedza districts respectively to finalize the student registration process. So far, we have managed to meet and register all the 100 student beneficiaries across Malawi.

On Tuesday June 8, 2021, Promise Chipeta visited Mtakataka Secondary School in Dedza where she met the 10 students.

And on Wednesday June 9, 2021, Joanna Kamphale visited Mitundu Community Day Secondary School in Lilongwe where she met 10 students.

2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT is so far supporting 100 students in 10 districts across Malawi. The districts are Nsanje, Blantyre, Neno, Dedza, Lilongwe, Ntchisi, Dowa, Mzimba, Rumphi and Karonga.

2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT team member Joanna visited students at Mitundu CDSS in Lilongwe rural on Wednesday 5 May, 2021 and Joshua, a team member from Mzuzu visited students at Mnjiri CDSS in Mzimba on Thursday 6 May, 2021.

These are students who have been selected to benefit from the 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT. To date, we have managed to meet 81 of the targeted 100 students.

The first term school calendar has officially ended today 7 May, 2021. Second term is expected to commence on 24 May, 2021.

We are looking forward to supporting the 100 students once they return from their 2 weeks holiday.

Yesterday Monday May 3, 2021, 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT team led by Margaret visited Chikonde Community Day Secondary School in Neno district. We met the students who will be supported under the project.

We were also joined by the Head teacher Mr. Zingwangwa who expressed gratitude towards the project, and said the project will ease the burden students have, especially when it comes to paying fees.

We are glad to announce that 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT is ready to roll out effective June 1, 2021.

The school calendar has faced many challenges this year, mostly due to the global pandemic of Coronavirus, among others. In turn, the delays in the school calendar affected the early start of the project.

But we are now glad that all necessary requirements regarding the project are in place.

With AIRTEL MALAWI taking the leading role in supporting the project this year to the tune of MK6,402,000.00, we would also like to extend our profound gratitude to ADVENTURES WITH COLBY, NIN9 CONSTRUCTION, PAMUDZI EATERY & BAR and all individuals who contributed towards the project.

2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT will be supporting one hundred (100) students for a start. The students have been drawn from different secondary schools across Malawi.

The schools are; Nkadabwako CDSS in Nsanje, Madziabango CDSS in Blantyre rural, Chikonde CDSS in Neno, Mpherere CDSS in Ntchisi, Mauni in Dowa, Mtakataka Secondary School in Dedza, Mitundu CDSS in Lilongwe rural, Mnjiri CDSS in Mzimba, Chankhomi CDSS in Rumphi and Thunduti CDSS in Karonga.

We know it will be challenging running the project but with challenges comes opportunities and with the help of the whole team, partners, citizens and all other stakeholders, we will together succeed.

This project is here to stay and we will welcome any support related and beneficial to the project. Thank you Malawi.

Today Saturday April 17, 2021, 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT team member Margaret visited students in Blantyre rural and Nsanje district respectively. She managed to meet 20 students under the project.

"I am happy to note students' willingness to excel despite the various challenges I have heard which they go through", Margaret said.

This week our team has met 60 of the 100 students under the project in Karonga, Rumphi, Ntchisi, Dowa, Blantyre rural and Nsanje.

Yesterday April 15, 2021 the team was on the move in central and northern region. In the central, Promise visited Ntchisi and Dowa to meet the head teachers and student beneficiaries.

In the north, Joshua visited Karonga to meet the head teacher and student beneficiaries.

"The head teacher was very welcoming and I had a great time with the students. They were very cooperative and as soon as I opened up to them, they opened up to me as well ", Joshua said.

On the other hand, Anniemarie visited Rumphi district to meet the head teacher and student beneficiaries.

This means yesterday our team met 30 of the 100 students under the 2 WHEELS 2 SCHOOL PROJECT.

All in all, the team had a successful mission and managed to execute well what was planned.

All the schools under the project will be unveiled next week.

We have identified volunteers who will represent 2 Wheels 2 School Project in southern, central and northern region of Malawi.
