It is quite a unique and incredible 'red carpet' orientation ceremony for our future physiotherapists, midwives, doctors, lab scientists, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, biomedical scientists, and dental surgeons.
In his remarks, His Excellency, the President of the Council, Mr. Francis Msimbu, said he is delighted to be accorded such an honour as to welcome these brilliant and exceptional students. He congratulated them for the extraordinary achievement of enrolling in the university and urged them to put forth their best effort. The Vice President, the Honourable Patrick Somanje, underlined the value of involvement in extracurricular activities and asserted that every student at the institution is expected to be exceptional in all they do, as excellence is a way of life, for life.
