EULOGY BY THE VERY REVEREND ARCHIMANDRITE CHRYSANTHOS!
Dear Father Anthony here present are your fellow priests. Here present is your beloved family. Also here present are your spiritual children.
Father we are here to say good-bye. You have departed from here and we believe you are in heaven celebrating Divine Liturgy together with God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ and you will continue to pray for your spiritual children and all of us.
Today we are mourning because we will miss you for you are in heaven, very far from us. But one day all of us will be with you in heaven. Therefore let us prepare for our departure from here on earth because no one knows the day of their death. We have to prepare for the day of our death by confessing our sins. Most importantly we must receive the sacrament of the Holy Communion (Holy Eucharist) often. The sacrament prepares our hearts for the great supper (banguet or feast) with Jesus Christ at the end of our life.
With these few words dear Fr. Anthony I say to you "Christ is Risen". and death has been defeated.

Through him the Orthodox Church built a magnificent church and secondary school for the benefit of the people in his community and surrounding areas. He was also praised for his kindness and generosity. Eternal be his memory!
