The Least Tern
The Minimal Tern (Sternula Antillarum) , also known as the Least tern, is a migratory seabird of the grill family, and is the smallest of the tern group.
This bird is closely related to the wetlands, since every year it comes from the cost of Yucatán and arrives east of the island of Cozumel in the spring and summer months exclusively to nest and produce a new generation, lays 2 eggs 🥚 in the sand , the process of nesting is 20 to 25 days , leaves the region in September.
We invite you to respect their best and stay away during their nesting.
The Maya came to workshop the Goddess Ixchel and to make her their main requests , Fertility of the land, abundant fruits and crops, sufficient rainfall and adécuate temperatures to be able to live, Health Body , mind and spirit in harmony. Now you can see this traditions in May every year in Cozumel and Playa del Carmen Mexico.
