Thermostat not compatible , as you evidently has a backup/emergency heat which is not supported by this thermostat. You would need RTH5160
My thermostat not cooling my house sufficiently
3 causes
1. System failure (measure the voltage of the wires normally 20-30 vac)
2. Utility Company remotely control your thermostat
3. Outside weather condition directly affect your thermostat
My Thermostat shows unlock at the bottom and nothing works.
Try the code:1234 (non-wifi thermostat)
Try : 1234+Date code (wifi thermostat)
Light went off/I took my thermostat off the wall, now it only shows flashing 4 digits (ie 2021).

MY SYSTEM RUNS CONTINUOUSLY WITHOUT STOP.
The causes are issues from the system (70%), wiring (20%) and thermostat(10%)
Those caused by the heating and cooling system occurs when the unit continues to run after taking the thermostat off the wall and will requires the attention of HVAC professionals.
Those caused by the wiring maybe due to using the wrong thermostat or hooking up the wires wrongly , for example connecting the cooling wire(Y) to the heating terminal(w) instead of the cooling terminal will cause running of the AC.
The thermostat can cause the fan to run continuously if the fan switch is put to on, instead of auto.
BEFORE YOU CALL A TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
Have th following ready before calling a Thermostat technician for help:
1. Model number of the thermostat: This can be found at the back of the thermostat.
2. The Heating/Cooling units: Is it a heat pump, conventional, Gas Forced Air, Hot water Heater, Electric?.
3. Wiring: What are the wires and which terminals are they hooked to. Red-R, White-W, Blue-C, Yellow-W, Brown, Black etc
Bear in mind that we don´t follow color code as all wires can perfom the same function irrespective of colors
NOT KEEPING SETPOINT
My thermostat is not keeping a setpoint
1. Thermostat may be following a schedule and should be disabled
2. Thermostat my be affected by factors such as opened windows, heat or light from outside, coldness/warmness of the wall on which it is placed, airflow from outside.
3. Thermostat is put in an unsuitable location in the house.
ON AND OFF
The thermostat is making my system go on and off intermittently.
The default cycle rate need to be checked in the installer setup (ISU) to reduce the frequency
HOLD
My thermostat display temporary/permanent hold.
This means the schedules/programms on the thermostat are held up/ suspended. The thermostat is functioning manually and not following programms or schedules. This can be activated by pressing the hold buttons after setting the temperature in some thermostat or configured to do so in other thermostats.
UNLOCK
My thermostat displays unlock below and wouldn´t respond to touch.
The thermostat is locked and therefore requires a special code to unlock it. The generic code is 1234, however wifi thermostats requires different set of codes depending on the manufacture date known as date code.
BLUE WIRE
My Blue Wire has no slot/terminal in Honeywell thermostat.
If it is a retail thermostat (i.e the model number starts with RTH) then don´t connect the blue wire just tape it off, because the RTH Thermostats are battery operated and don´t need to be powered by the blue wire being connected to the C-terminal.
Trade (ie TH) thermostats have slots (ie C terminal) for the blue wire.

5. Observed that the polarity is followed
6. Check if the Thermostat is under a warranty
