Three things I’m working on:

1. My skincare routine particularly nighttime. I'm  about to be 39 in a week. I want to keep everything tight and right naturally.

2.  I’ve been getting some hair under my chin which causes hyperpigmentation, a.k.a. black spots. No thank you. I have done a little research on this, and what I came up with it’s a hormone imbalance producing too much testosterone. The goal is to get it back balance not sure how exactly.

3. Lastly, I do not drink enough water. I’ve been getting away with it, but need to do better.

Since tomorrow is my baby‘s birthday it has me reflecting on 2020.

2020 was a year filled with lots of unknowns.

During this time I had to be more intentional. For me, this meant meditating daily, dancing, minimize the amount of news I allowed myself to consume.

Finally, the parks had reopened and I was gone. I didn’t wanna fly road trips were my only option.
It was the last two weeks of my pregnancy, I made sure it was fun.

We went to Sedona Arizona for a couple of days. On my way there we stopped at IKEA which was fun. Got back home rest for a few days and I was off to White Sands, New Mexico.💕💫

One question I get asked all the time is, how did you get here Yulande?

My answer is always the same I started where I was. I didn’t wait for anything to change, I changed and my mindset changed.

You have to want that life, freedom, and your time more than the grip fear and the opinions of others have on you. More than any obstacle that you will have to overcome because you will have obstacles. When your focus on your commitment to improving your situation you don’t even see obstacles.

Your level of commitment to achieving your desired outcome is easier said than done. However, think about if you had started five years ago. The possibilities are endless where your life would’ve been today.

I had a conversation with one of my previous clients two weeks ago. We started working together in 2021. My girl went out and lease a building to create her program for kids. She is stepping out in radical faith and doors are opening for her and her business. It also helps to have the know how to negotiate a lease and create a profitable business model. Which she is well equipped to do.

She’s like Yulande if I didn’t work with you I wouldn’t have been doing anything like this. I told her I reminded her who she was and what she was capable of doing and I filled in a few blanks.

I believe everything is connected. Even though we did business coaching, we touched on other areas of her life. Which she continues to work on. She told me she loves getting herself flowers. As you should I said, yes! We’re not waiting for anyone to treat us special it starts with us.

Every day my assignment becomes clearer and clearer. When I hear others say it. it’s incredible. I have impacted her life and impacted her children’s life. Now she’s impacting other children’s life. Nothing feels better than this, it’s like a domino effect but positively and that thrills me.

When we first started working together getting her to show up on social media was a mountain to climb. Now, I told her I don’t even recognize her. She’s not the person I started working with, she did a complete 180. Her confidence has certainly leveled up. She is barely recognizable.

I am thankful that every day I get to walk more and more in my purpose.

For a long time, I was unsure of what my purpose was. Then I was scared when I began to comprehend.

Now I have fully embraced my purpose, and it’s exhilarating.

We all are here on assignment. Our only responsibility is to get clear on our mission and execute it to the best of our ability.

Getting clear requires time and effort and some more time and some more effort. Please give yourself grace if it’s not yet clear.

Talking about purpose.

I remember having a conversation a while back with Jynell. She said, “ children need art in their life, and I’m going to make it happen.” But it was the way she said it. There was so much passion and conviction there, I felt it. I know if she could do it for free, she would.

That’s what purpose does to you.

This is what taking a chance looks like. What stepping out in faith looks like. What jumping looks like. What doing it scared looks like.

After Christmas, Spring and Easter are up there for me. It makes me happy effortlessly, and it could be spring means it is about to get warm, which makes me happy. Easter means resurrection Sunday, cross buns, Easter break, flying kites, and hanging out with family. Just writing this post in my kitchen talking about Easter and spring, I am beaming with joy.💗

I’m planning on attending A Easter egg hunt or doing my own for my baby boy after years of no Easter egg hunt. I’m beyond excited I even got him two Easter baskets. Why I don’t know. 😩🤦🏾‍♀️

Yesterday I started my spring cleaning first thing on the agenda was our pantry. Now I am working on decorating our dining room for Easter. And I feel like going a bit over the top this year.
