OPERATION DAISY DROP! Last week I had the honor of driving this cute lucky girl to the Cancun Airport for her trip to her new home in New Jersey! It was a coordinated effort with her foster parents in Chelem, her new family in Jersey and myself. The last picture is Alex (Daisy's new daddy) reuniting with her after the flight in New Jersey. Another successful ZimZoom adventure!!!

Hi All!

Someone pointed out to me that my prices were not updated on this site. My fault - I've just been to busy to update them (or too lazy...or I forgot.....) In any case, the gas prices here are killing us so the prices are updated in the 'Services' section.

$4000 pesos for Cancun to Yucatan airport transfers and $3500 pesos for day trips. These are still very competitive fares.

Sorry about the confusion and thank you all for your business!

Chris

I love my new enterprise so much! Every week brings a new experience and a new story. Monday I was asked by local doggy rescue goddess Amy Budd to transfer Moe and Rigby to Cancun for a flight to my home town of Chicago!

It was an EARLY pick up (6 a.m.) and we got off to a good start. These two super sweet local dogs have their own background stories. Suffice it to say that they had both suffered and were saved from VERY depressing situations.

Amy had made all of the arrangements and booked space for them on the flight and was assured by AA reservations that they could both go into one kennel, so.....we only brought one kennel. Unfortunately at check in they didn't accept them in one kennel. I called Amy and asked her what to do, we had very little time to figure this out. Well...the army of doggy angels came through! Amy found someone in Cancun that had a kennel and in a mad rush we got kennel number 2 and JUST made it to get the doggies on the flight.

Everyone made it to Chicago safe and sound and Moe has already been adopted while Rigby is still in a foster home. He's a SUPER sweet dog and I'm SURE someone will want him soon! Pictures to follow....LOVE the video of them playing after arriving in Chicago! Now THAT'S what you call REWARDING for a job well done!

The AMAZING Dog Rescuer Amy Budd and Miles the doggy were my passengers last night. They had a 7 a.m. flight from Cancun so we drove the 'red-eye' from Progreso to Cancun. LONG NIGHT! :D

Sotuta de Peon Living Hacienda 21/03/2017
Sotuta de Peon Living Hacienda 21/03/2017

This is one of the most fascinating places I've seen in the Yucatan! A living hacienda that is still producing small amounts of fiber from the henequen plants. The guide was SO knowledgeable and we learned so much about the history of this amazing hacienda. $500 pesos for adults ($250 for kids to 12) for a full day at the hacienda. After touring the plant and home, you'll take a donkey pull through the henequen fields, visit a wonderful Mayan worker and take a dip in the cenote. There is a wonderful buffet of local cuisine offered after your swim in the cenote. I HIGHLY recommend a visit to this wonderful hacienda!

Linda and Dan - Uxmal 13/01/2017

We had a WONDERFUL day yesterday. My friend Linda and her visiting son Daniel requested a trip to the Mayan ruins at Uxmal and stops along the way. We went to a HIDDEN cenote and had a late lunch at the restaurant in the FABULOUS Temozon Sur Hacienda. Another successful Zim Zoom DAY TRIP!

Cave and Ruins Tour 10/01/2017

Had a GREAT day today with Michael and Pati. Mayapan ruins and caves in Homun. Perfect weather - not too hot. We also went to a beautiful cenote in Homun, but it wasn't a good day for swimming. Thanks for a wonderful day!

HI All!

Thank you for liking my page. If you don't already know me - I'm Chris. I've been living in the Yucatan for 7 plus years and have been traveling here for more than 20 years. I LOVE this part of the world and now I want to share that love with you and your guests. This new venture is about doing something JOYFUL in 2017 and there is a LOT of joy in exploring the Yucatan Peninsula. It's a magical land to be sure!

Let me take you to some of the most amazing places you will see in your lifetime! My favorite thing about the Yucatan is the natural, unspoiled landscapes, beaches and wildlife. It's ABUNDANT and beautiful. I'm probably one of the safest drivers I know. I lived in Chicago for more than 30 years and had ZERO moving violations. I've lived in the Yucatan for 7 years and have not had even one fender-bender.

"Come with me...........and you'll SEE.....a world of pure imagination......."
