What do I mean by Advantage English? Well, I have been improving. Then, suddenly, I discovered some newer 'magical' techniques. Besides the usual grammar, tenses, writing, essay types, etc., some hidden methods enable the keen student to learn faster and more effectively.

Besides that, I also focus on the student's learning to answer questions in other subjects, especially when they go to university. In other words, I help prepare students for university education in Science, Engineering, Law, etc. in English.

As the standard of English goes down in our country, a good command of English enables a good student to succeed in other parts of the world, too. Thankfully, I've had some keen students and teaching them more than they signed up for is a joy.

Is anyone interested in weekend English language lessons for intermediate and upper-intermediate students? I am looking at setting up these small group lessons. Recommended age group from 12 years old to 16 years old. Exams: Cambridge IGCSE - FLE and IGCSE 2nd Language English. Also for SPM students interested in scoring 'A'.

I am offering small group classes (Max. 10 - 15 students) as I have run out of one-to-one slots. All lessons are online. 1.5 hours per class. The students should be self-motivated to achieve good results.

Dear parents and students,
Many students hit a blank wall when it comes to tenses. It doesn't help when rotten grammar on social media and the environment (even in textbooks and tuition classes) create never ending confusion.

I now use various contemporary materials to teach English Tenses. Some of my students have shown instant success with tenses. Others still need more practice. Although the slower ones may need a few more lessons, they'll eventually get there. My tenses classes are backed with various exercises to help the students.

Besides the intensive tenses classes, there are the sentence construction classes. Learning English is not an overnight thing. However, some classes do provide a small leap in profficiency. These 2 courses can provide that "Lightbulb moment" that students need.

These classes are especially suitable for students from year 5 and above; for IGCSE English as a second language and for SPM. For IGCSE First Language English students, we will have to go much further.

Of course, other normal classes cover numerous areas like grammar, essay writing, summaries and much more.
