Montessori: Exercise Practical Life, Transferring (Water with pippete)

The students were able to figure out how to suck up the water with the pippete and then move it (transfer) to the other cup. This is a bit of a challenge as they have to demonstrate a great deal of control while squeezing the pipette to the cup.

Workplace and vehicle puzzle. Puzzle develop problem-solving. Puzzles make our student think hard. They needs to figured out in a logical way where the vehicle should be. Example, the police car should be in police station and fire truck should be at the fire station.

Water play promotes wellbeing. Water play can be a wonderfully calming, therapeutic activity. Many children enjoy the soothing touch of water and the sensory stimulation that it offers. Some lively splashing is also a great outlet for pent-up energy, allowing our students to let off steam, have fun, laugh, play, and be happy.

This in-hand manip**ation activities are a great way to boost fine motor skills needed for tasks like managing clothing fasteners and using a pencil when writing. The dexterity that is worked on when picking up coins from a flat surface is huge. They need to pick up the edges with a tip-to-tip grasp and put in the purse.
