Unlike my previous cut, instead rapid fat loss I’ve opted for a rather slow fat loss process, trying my best to preserve as much muscle mass as possible.

If you struggle from certain disease like i did that prevents you from achieving your fitness goal, DON'T QUIT!
If you suffered from HYPERTHYROIDISM like I did, and struggled to put on weight or muscles due to obstacles in life, please read on.
I was diagnosed with Graves's disease 7 months ago and lost 15kg of weight in as little as 1 and a half months time. My previous hard work to build muscles and maintain a six pack abs was shattered at the time.
3 months before I was diagnosed with the disease, I was constantly active and had a fairly lean muscular body, however quitting from my previous fitness job due to pandemic made me stopped working out for 3 months while I was training for a new job.
Within that 3 months things just didn't felt right, my weight dropped sky rocketed, including my muscle mass, I was feeling down, low in stamina, low in energy, struggled to sleep, having problems with emotion, night sweats, racing heart, hands trembling and the list goes on and on and on....
To put things into perspective, my fitness level plunged from 15 pull ups to 2 pull ups in just 1.5 months! it's was so crazy because one of the symptoms of HYPERTHYROIDISM is muscle weakness.
When I realised it's time to seek medical advise. Things started to improved slowly after taking prescription medication for 2 weeks. My stamina was better, I was able to slowly increase my strength in training, my overall mood felt better, and most importantly my other life threatening symptoms has been under controlled after a month taking meds.
The thing is, if you also struggle from certain disease like i did that prevents you from achieving your FITNESS GOALS, DON'T QUIT!
Even if it takes more effort than a normal human being to reach your GOALS, DON'T GIVE UP!
Even if it takes longer time for you to get to your GOALS, NEVER GIVE UP!
TRUST THE PROCESS, BE CONSISTENT.

Decided to use calisthenics approach to build some muscles.
Was deciding where to install the first pull up bar in my life.
[Could barely do more than 3 pull ups at the time]
Back with some updates.
Picture left to right was April 2021 -> May 2021
Muscle lost due to Grave disease.
Been hiatus from working out since then until recently (Started back on December 2021)
The sickness caused my huge weight lost of at least 10kg at the time
Complimentary side effects including knee pain as well as massive stamina drop (disposing rubbish / climbing up staircase does lead to rapid heartbeat and shortness of breath).
