RESORTS WORLD ONE arrived in KEELUNG

最懂台湾人的邮轮"名勝世界壹號"从新加坡出发5天4晚的公海游, 终于在今早(7月12日)顺利抵达基隆港西岸码头, 展开她在台湾的暑假部署。

今日也正逢是农历六月初七'天门开'的好日子, 能够在这一天抵达基隆开启新的季节运营也特别有意义。

Docked at the West Passenger Terminal around local time 8.30am, the 75,338-ton vessel will host an open house event onboard for the pre-registered local guests, travel agents and media before she set sail tonight at 9pm for a 2-night weekend cruise to Miyakojima (Okinawa, Japan).

RW1 is operating 2, 3, 4, and 5-night itineraries sailing to various popular destinations in Japan including the favourite Okinawa island routes from July 12 till September 26, to be based in Taiwan's Keelung and also a short frame of homeporting in Kaohsiung between 19 to 29 August.

After September 26, Resorts World One will return back to Hong Kong to complete the remaining three uncancelled round-trip itineraries before repositioning to Dubai.

September 27 / October 04 : 2-night High Seas weekend cruises

September 29 : 5-night Okinawa cruise

RW1 - A Surprise or Shock deployment ?

Following the official news announcement on Resorts World One latest homeport planning coming this October 18th in Arabian Gulf, we should expect some (at least a few) changes being made onboard the ship operation.

1. The Leo-class vessel will receive the official Organisation of Islamic Cooperation / The Standards and Metrology Institute (OIC/SMIIC) Standard Halal-friendly cruise ship certification.

2. Food being served onboard will be certified Halal-friendly (sourced from UAE Halal suppliers) to the regional Muslim guests from the Middle East.

3. Guests can also make pre-advanced appointments to have the crew of the *same gender* attending to them individually for selected onboard services such as the Spa.

4. Onboard public announcements will be made in both the English and Arabic languages.

5. We may also expect a minor adjustment change in the entertainment and live music segment onboard in order to cater and adapt to the culture of the Arabian.

The Asian musicians are likely possible to be replaced by Western performing solo singers or groups.

6. Casino operation and Alcohol policies onboard will subject to the local authorities terms and conditions. (To Be Advised)

Upcoming Speculation recently hinted that RW1 might continue to remain in Taiwan instead of Hong Kong for the month of September / early October where she is rumoured to extend her deployment in Keelung before repositioning to the Middle East / UAE ??? (To Be Confirmed)

Whether it is finishing her Summer deployment in Taiwan or Hong Kong, there should be 2 repositioning cruises (predict at least 2 trips).

Either Keelung or Hong Kong to Singapore

Singapore to Dubai

Although we don't rule out the vessel might also sail on empty capacity (except crews) to reposition to the Middle East, this seems very unlikely due to revenue benefits. (TBC)

不去澎湖, 这次'玩'日本 (从基隆和高雄出发: 2晚, 4晚与5晚九州 / 冲绳航线)。

台湾夏季真的是有多样化的选择。名胜的航线规划够精彩, 也绝对有看头 !

RESORTS WORLD ONE will make a strong comeback to Taiwan for her Summer seasonal deployment, arriving on 12 July 2024.

She will be operating a limited series of 2-night, 4-night and 5-night destination cruises from Keelung and Kaohsiung where the Leo-class vessel will be sailing to Japan's Kyushu such as Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Sasebo and Okinawa routes in Ishigaki, Miyakojima and Naha. (12th July - 27th August, 2024)

As per what we understand from the media release: the 5-night itineraries departing from Keelung will sail to three destinations and guests can also enjoy one full sea day aboard.

Definitely there might be some amendment changes for the repositioning cruise on 08 July 2024 (Originally scheduled to depart from Singapore returning back to Hong Kong) after RW1 conclude her Southeast Asia seasonal deployment in Singapore and Jakarta.
