A Tough Year for 2019

Greetings! It has been a successful effort in the past where we have got what it takes to reach out the fans of what we have liked. Unfortunately, in 2019, there are some ups and downs when time passes by.

As an admin of all three pages, in this year, it is a problem to keep up to date on the latest updates on what we love. Insisting that we have a lot of work and tasks to do, we might also forget on what we love and what we have cherish on it.

Now for a message to specific pages I own.
For IUKL Cricket Fanclub:

We have become successful in making IUKL Cricket Fanclub achieve what we have in the past. Thanks to the IUKL BSA (Bangladeshi Students Association) for making this page possible. Although our resources are lack of professionalism, but that's what we have in common to make the IUKL cricketers and cricket fans in love with this game.

However, since 2019, there is no other updates that we made prior to the cricket development in IUKL, thus leaving this page in an unexpected idle. We'll try our best to have more cricket events on IUKL in the future.

We sure want to reflect back on how we've become successful in our past events and have made our own team to represent the Bangladeshi Students Cricket League in Malaysia. We are so proud of ourselves and we will always pursue our hearts to bring the best of cricket in the future.

To everyone who have stayed for a long time at one of my three (3) pages in Facebook, I would like to say kudos for your support and we will always be together for this year. I, as an admin will try to ensure that these three pages will be up to date and will reach out more fans or users soon.

Assalamualaikum and greetings IUKL cricketers. Before I start my official statement, I would like to wish all the best to Bangladesh, Pakistan, and all Asian countries for the 2018 Jakarta Palembang Asian Games!

As we all know, we have arrived in 2018, and I as admin of this page would like to have a huge of forgiveness that I've made this page very dull and not supportive amongst the other pages of IUKL.

If I had a chance, even though the team is existed, I would like to become a manager of IUKL cricket and to lead the team to success. But this is not the time yet. I'll have to move on to my studies, and thinking about rebuild IUKL in a condusive way.

Now for the cricket development issues in the world.

1. Cricket scraped off at Jakarta Palembang games.

Last 8 years and 4 years have become a successful time for cricket in the Asian Games, Guangzhou 2010 has made a debut, and in Incheon 2014, the popularity of cricket has gained very much, but unfortunately, for this year, the event has been scraped off due to some financial issues by INASGOC.

I really don't know what has just happened on developing cricket in the biggest sporting events, like Olympics, Commonwealth Games, and of course, the Asian Games.

Stressing out the 1998 Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games, the cricket has been existed, but not for long until 2002 Commonwealth. The issue is they played on an ODI (60-over to be exact) format, that causes the game to be too long, and not very entertaining. So now the T20 is introduced in 2003, why they couldn't make it to the Olympics and Commonwealth Games? Unlike petanque and other sports to receive recognition in these games, but cricket is certainly making a huge racket.

2. 10-teams only in next year's ODI Cricket World Cup.

I would like to stress 'ODI' for this issue, unlike T20 cricket that has gained popularity, ODI is a format of Cricket World Cup next year. The ICC World T20 is the T20 version of the Cricket World Cup. Now that's why there's an issue.

On my opinion, 10-team world cup is not a World Cup. But regarding to this case, as this is an ODI world cup, it couldn't be made the same as the T20 world cup. A huge difference has made when the T20 Cricket World Cup was named as World T20, which sounds not accurate, but logical to sense.

I'm sorry to say this statement, that I will boycott this 10-team Cricket World Cup, and not supporting it as there are not giving a chance for other teams to participate in cricket. If you want to watch it, then be my guest. But I'm still not watching it, for the sake of the 'minnows'.
