Hari ini kami bertemu Qu Tian Yi, Pengurus Utiliti kami. Beliau bertanggungjawab untuk memastikan utiliti kami beroperasi dengan selamat dan berkesan untuk membolehkan kami menghasilkan dan menyampaikan produk berkualiti kepada pelanggan kami.

Beliau juga membantu bagi melaksanakan salah satu nilai teras kami, iaitu "Penambahbaikan Berterusan", untuk meningkatkan kecekapan dan menyelesaikan masalah sebelum ia berlaku.

Today we meet Qu Tianyi, our Utilities Manager. He’s responsible for ensuring our utilities operate safely and effectively to enable us to produce and deliver quality products to our customers

He also helps us implement one of our core values, Continuous Improvement, to improve efficiency and solve problems before they occur.

Setiap tahun pada bulan ini, semua warga di Asia Honour Paper (M) Industries Sdn Bhd sangat tidak sabar untuk mengibarkan bendera Jalur Gemilang di rumah, di kereta mereka. Kerana pada tanggal 31 Ogos ini telah terlukis sejarah yang menandakan Malaysia sudah bebas daripada penjajah. Oleh itu, kami di AHP ingin mengucapkan Selamat Menyambut Hari Merdeka yang ke - 65 kepada semua rakyat Malaysia.

Every year in this month, all the people at Asia Honor Paper (M) Industries Sdn Bhd look forward to flying the Jalur Gemilang flag at home, in their cars. Because on the 31st of August, history has been written that marks Malaysia's independence from the colonialists. Therefore, we at AHP would like to wish all Malaysians a Happy 65th Merdeka Day.

Say hello to our Hydraulic & Lubrication Technician, Mr. Sathya A/L Kannan who utilises the latest precision tools and gauges to troubleshoot and diagnose , Hydraulic & Lubrication equipment issues.

Mr Sathya is part of AHP’s team of operation technicians responsible for servicing and maintaining our lubrication & hydraulic equipment to achieve optimum performance and minimise downtime while adhering to AHP's strict safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines.

We brought everyone together for the AHP Town Hall to celebrate our company culture and foster team spirit. Our Managing Director, Mr Khor Kok Leong, presented out strategic focus as well as a deep dive of our T.O.P.I.C.C. Core Values.

The entire team got an update on our goals and progress, as well as our priorities for the rest of the year.

Today we meet Mr. Haji Rosli Mahmood, our Paper Machine Specialist who supervises a team of operation technicians responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of our machines located at the Wet end, Dry end, Winder and Wrapline areas.

Mr. Rosli and his team of operation technicians works tirelessly to minimize machine downtime and maximize productivity at our mill while adhering to the strictest safety standards.

We had donated school bags to primary school students at SK Temerloh Jaya. This donation is dedicated primarily to those families who are greatly affected by the floods that happened in January 2022.

It is hoped that this donation being made by AHP will lighten the load of families impacted by the floods, and will give a boost to the children's spirit to keep them motivated to come to school.

The donations were handed over to representatives from SK Temerloh Jaya, including the headmaster, Cikgu Zaini in the middle of the photos, two teachers and AHP staff.

Mr. Riffli Magaun, our Paper Machine Area Manager and his team ensures our paper machines run smoothly 24-7 to optimize the production of top quality paper products for our valued customers.

Our Paper Machine team is responsible for machine maintenance, as well as troubleshooting runability and quality issues on a daily basis, while following strict safety guidelines.

Asia Honour Paper (AHP) invests in innovation, technologies, people and partnerships to manage resources and emissions responsibly and sustainably, utilising plantation fibre and recycled waste paper to manufacture a diverse range of recycled paper products, including printing and writing paper, packaging paper, and newsprint.

Ms Stephanie Chew’s primary role is to increase the organisation’s efficiency while reducing MUDA (waste) by tracking, monitoring and reporting LEAN performance.
Her team is involved in several different key MUDA and Lean projects to improve productivity and efficiency.

Say hello to our warehouse manager, Mr. Jefferudin Nizam Bin Saleh. His team focuses on the efficient management, distribution, and storage of raw materials used to manufacture our top-quality paper products, as well as the storage and loading of finished goods.

Our warehouse operations team also takes pride in ensuring the best storage conditions for our raw materials and products as well as maximizing warehouse space at AHP while adhering to the highest safety standards.

AHP presented tokens of appreciation to out-going committee members who had served Taman Tualang Indah residents in 2021. AHP will continue to support local residents as part of our commitment to doing what’s good for the community.

We donated food to 16 families in Taman Tualang Indah that been badly affected by the recent flooding in Mentakab. Some of the recipients had shared their bitter experiences and were very thankful to receive AHP's food stocks distribution. AHP's food donation is a small way to tell the neighboring community that AHP will always care and is willing to help out.

Today our General Manager, Mr. Koh shares with us how our TOPICC company core values guide us to grow as a team and produce top-quality paper products for our valued customers.

By working as a Complementary Team and taking Ownership to do our jobs with Integrity, our dedicated staff at AHP strives for Continuous Improvement in order to fulfill the needs of our customers.

In the face of a global pandemic, we have overcome many challenges with these core values and our dedicated team will continue to improve our products and operations.

In December 2021, Mentakab experienced one of the worst flooding in the past ten years. The town center and various low-lying housing estates were flooded, some up to the roof level. The water took between three to four days to subside and this has caused severe damage to properties. The aftermath was indeed shocking, with thick mud all over the houses and furniture, electrical appliances, and clothes were all damaged. Very little could be salvaged and the flood victims had to purchase new furniture, electrical appliances, and clothes. Other than emotional stress, the flood victims had to deal with financial stress as well.

Some of our own AHP staff were also not spared from this unfortunate disaster. We must take care of our own staff welfare and immediately we started an internal flood relief donation drive, namely “Tabung Bencana Banjir Warga AHP”. The response from the donation was overwhelming and the company top-up further with three times from the amount collected from our own staff. Forty staff were handed out with the proceeds from the donation.

As a company who cares for her people, the management of AHP instinctively walk-the-talk by doing something for our own staff when they needed us most.”

Today, we meet Mr. Lain Chen Ying, our Human Resources Manager whose HR team manages over 300 staff at AHP. The right talent acquisitions with professional expertise to run our 24-7 paper manufacturing hub, ensure we produce top quality, cost efficient products for our valued customers.

Our HR team organizes professional skills and safety training sessions and manages staff performance while ensuring that staff compensation and benefits are in line with other companies within similar industries.

Kaizen is a Japanese business philosophy meaning "change for the better" or "continuous improvement." At AHP, we apply Kaizen to continuously improve mill operations.

“After a recent Kaizen session, we were able to improve our production planning, eliminate waste and increase our production by 10%.” - Nurul Akma, Production Engineer.

Say hello to Mr Shao Zhu Ming, our Technical Manager whose entire team takes pride in pursuing excellence in terms of safety, environment, productivity and ensures that AHP adheres to the ISO 9001 quality system.

Mr Shao has many years of technical experience producing paper from waste paper and developing new products to meet the needs of customers.

His team is proud to be leading the Raw Water Effluent Plant Environmental & Improvement Project to implement new sewage treatment technologies, resulting in higher discharge standards and better environmental protection.

We raised RM40,208 for the Special People’s Care Center Mentakab (SPCCM) as part of our Founder’s Day celebration. It’s part of our commitment to help the local community and the needy to overcome challenges during the pandemic.

Kaizen is a Japanese business philosophy meaning "change for the better" or "continuous improvement." At AHP, we apply Kaizen to continuously improve mill operations, resulting in greater efficiency for our mill and better product quality for our valued customers.

During a recent Kaizen session, our team utilized the Kanban Board, a project management tool, to focus on reducing our winder and wrap line defects. We conducted training sessions to improve QC competency and improved feedback communication. We succeeded in reducing the number of defects in our finished goods by 24% and achieved better quality control- Laboratory Team Leader, Romizan Mat Ali

Today, Ms Cynthia Lee, AHP’s Sales Manager shares with us how her sales team is able to sell over 200,000 tons of recycled paper products per year while ensuring low inventory holding.

Our sales team works with the mill to develop best quality recycled paper products according to our customers demands. We constantly communicate and engage with our customers to provide them with the best customer service.

We are currently facing the global challenge of raising logistics cost and shipment delays and our team is relentlessly looking for ways to reduce the impact on our valued customers.
