Local films face a lot of competition for screening space. Exhibitors prefer their halls to screen Hollywood movies and blockbusters. And they try to push local films out as soon as possible.
Rain Town is a Malaysian movie that should be seen in theatres. But in order to remain in cinemas it has to sell more tickets. It has made it to Monday, today. And if they sell enough tickets to make it to Wednesday exhibitors will keep in the circuit for another week.
Support Malaysian film. Go and buy a ticket. Watch Rain Town.
Thank you.
Had dinner at Uncle Botak BBQ again. Good food. Great prices. When you go there ask for Chef Dan. He will explain and recommend a great meal for you. Google Uncle Botak BBQ for location.
Mahathir's son, Mirzan was told my MACC to declare his assets within 30 days from January 18. Now they have granted him an extension. Waaaa! Got too much to count is it? And as usual they have not declared that the new date for him to come clean is.
What la!
Niamah!!!

My good friend had a heart transplant just 2 weeks ago. He behaves like he was just in for an in-grown toenail!!! I cannot even imagine what a heart transplant op is like. You are a very brave man, Vinod and we are all proud of you and keeping you n our prayers and our thoughts.
We went to watch Rain Town last night. It is a great film and everyone should go watch what talented Malaysians can do.
How many of you believe or used to believe that there was such a word as IRREGARDLESS? Tell the truth.

From the Vibes this morning......
He (PAS' Hadi Awang) pointed out that places of worship had not been demolished while non-Muslims were able to run their own businesses as proof that religious freedom was guaranteed by PAS.
That's proof? What do you think?

Wishing everyone Gong Xi Fa Cai. Have a happy, safe and prosperous Lunar New Year of the Dragon.
Part of Muhiyiddin Yasin's bail condition in his money laundering case is that his passport is withheld. Now some sessions court judge has decided that "the court has a wide discretion to consider"....applications to return the passport to Muhiyiddin!!! Why? Because the man has to travel to Bangkok for a restaurant opening!!! To say that Malaysia has become an international laughing stock is an undertatement.

News say that former Sarawak CM was absconded from his hospital bed by his wife. And is "missing". While his wife denies allegations that she took him out of hospital. So where is he?
In this day and age we can have a person disappear like that?
Niamah!!!
The Lunar New Year is just around the corner. And with many other things that will mean the sound of firecrackers. They are still illegal I think but that doesn't seem to make any difference. The noisy fireworks will be welcomed by some and detested by others. And it scares the s**t out of dogs and other animals. Nonetheless fire crackers are and will remain an integral part of Chinese New Year. There is one fire crackers experience I remember very well. It happened when I was about 15 years old. In Ipoh. During those days I lived in a shophouse in the middle of Ipoh New Town. My father operated a taxi station. In those days people used to travel inter-state via "taxis". I think the fares were $10 to Penang, $12 to KL, $6 to Taiping.
Anyway, this particular year business must have been good for my father and the taxi operators. For Chinese New Year they decided that they would have a fire crackers "party". Money was pooled together to buy two crates of fire crackers. Yes I said crates. There must have been thousands if not more of frie crackers inside each one. On the appointed day, The crates were opened and a bunch of people started lighting the fire crackers and throwing them on the road. The din and smoke continued for more than an hour non-stop. The traffic police had to come and stop traffic from either end from driving in. Yes in those days, police and generally most people were much more tolerant. When the last fire cracker was lit, the whole road had disappeared under a carpet of red fire cracker debris.
Apparently, this man is the chief minister of Kerala. See any resemblance?
Facebook reminded me that 5 years ago I was asked to voice a commercial for a funeral home. Never heard from them again. I guess it is pretty permanent. 😂🤣😂

I read this in the online Star today........GOMBAK: Following the recent charging of two policemen in a rape-and-extort case involving a minor, a mass transfer exercise within Selangor police will be conducted, says the state top cop.......
When anyone commits a crime they get thrown in jail. When policemen do they get transferred???
Niamah!!!
What does Dr. Mahathir mean when he said that I am not "completely" loyal to Malaysia? Just because my great-great grandfather came from China? And why hasn't be been arrested and charged for sedition?
