It’s been a while since I last joined the market. It’s now a weekend market on both Sat and Sun from 11am-5pm.
A super hot day but the light is simply beautiful.
This year's CNY packaging turned out really pretty with a touch of traditional charm. The seal is 'Rumput Rumpai' in Chinese characters - Lú pō lán bái (盧泊籣白) given by a friend who has a love for Chinese calligraphy. It literally translates to muddy lake white orchid inspired by the symbolic meaning of lotus flower rising from muddy waters. Thank you 人类薛
The seal was made by my neighbour, the owner of Osmanthus Alley Restaurant. We've been neighbor's for a year or so but I never knew she makes such beautiful Chinese seal. It is truly the accidental union of Chinese art lovers that adds meaning and beauty to it all.
I didn't post this up earlier because the delicious kuih kapit was already out of stock before CNY. HAPPY NIU YEAR TO ALL and may the Ox usher in lots of healing energy to boost our immune system
