What I eat in a week for lunch

I am sure most of us don’t get to cook at home during our workdays.

So how are we going to eat healthily when we hang out with friends/ colleagues?

Day 1: 1 scoop of rice instead of 2; top up with sweet potatoes (just in case you can’t spot it, it’s at the right side of the plate)

Day 2: choose fried fish instead of red meat that has lower saturated fat

Day 3: My cheat day! Still enjoy the spicy Sambal with ayam penyet but just go with plain water. No sugary drinks

Day 4: Tapao day. Enjoy 3 different kind of vegetables! Bayam, cabbage, ladyfinger

Day 5: Choose stir fried chicken instead of deep fried chicken; no gravies added.

Yup, it’s not boring 😋 but it’s not perfect either. Make the right food choice for your health 👍🏼

Red dragon fruit is one of the Malaysia 🇲🇾 local fruits that I love, especially when it’s served chilled. It’s loaded with fibre, vitamin c and surprisingly non heme iron. The red flesh is attributed by antioxidant, betacyanin. Don’t worry if your urine/ poo turn red after eating too much of it.

One pot meal for the family & they love it ❤️

Pork loin creamy mushroom pasta
Not the kind of creamy pasta that is too saucy, this is refreshing & light in palette.

Add in only 1-2 tbsp of light cream cheese, milk, black pepper & fresh basil leaves to season it. No salt at all.
