Announcement: Kids And Youth Sportday 2023 📌

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Kids And Youth Sportday 2024 is already full! Thank you for those who have register with us to join this upcoming activity. This exciting event promises a day filled with sportsmanship, fun activities, and memorable moments for all participants. Registration will start at *8a.m -9a.m*. Don't forget to wear sport attire with sport shoes and bring *extra clothes* to change after the activity. For those who haven't pay the fee *(RM 5)*, you guys can meet us in front of the church after english and iban mass.

Ready to Serve: Sr. Dianna Claster’s Hands-On Training for New Altarboys!

The Altarboys Meeting cm Workshop at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel in Pakan, led by Sr. Dianna Claster, aims to teach new members the essential steps for serving during Sunday Mass. This training is crucial for ensuring that our liturgical services are conducted with reverence and precision. Under Sr. Dianna Claster’s expert guidance, the new altar boys will learn their roles and responsibilities, gaining the confidence needed to serve our community effectively.

Great news from our 2nd Sarikei Youth Ministry (SYM) meeting!

We’ve accomplished all our activities from January to June at St. Anthony Church and St. Francis of Assisi Chapel Pakan. Upcoming events from August to December are packed with excitement, and preparations for next year’s major activities have already begun. Keep an eye out for more details and opportunities to participate.

As our Youth Gathering in April centered around the theme of Laudato Si, reflecting on
'Planting the flower & Recycle wood to make furniture,'

let's remember ;
Psalm 24:1 - 'The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.'

May our efforts to steward God's creation continue beyond this gathering, echoing the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. Together, let's nurture the Earth and sow seeds of sustainability.

Around 100 participants who have participate in this Taizé Workshop. Heartfelt gratitude to our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. James Ting and Rev. Fr. Fabian Kong , esteemed guest speakers from Kuching, Sister Dianna from SSFS, representatives form parishes (St Alphonsus, Julau, Mary Immaculate Conception, Kapit, St Mary, Sibu, St Francis Xavier, Kanowit, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Sibu, Chapel of St Francis of Asisi, Pakan and St Anthony, Sarikei), the committee members of Sarikei Youth Ministry, for those who have been helped in cooking, and generous donors! Your unwavering support and commitment made our recent Taize workshop an unforgettable journey of faith and unity. Thank you for sharing your time, wisdom, and resources. Lebih kurang 100 peserta yang telah menyertai Taizé Workshop ini. Setinggi-tinggi penghargaan kepada Paderi Paroki Rev. Fr. James Ting dan Rev. Fr.
