Elite Consortium Berhad has confirmed that global pharmaceutical technology provider Colorcon Inc will be investing in i-TechValley at SILC.

Colorcon’s subsidiary Colorcon Malaysia Sdn Bhd will build the pharmaceutical leader’s first manufacturing facility in Southeast Asia. The facility would complement its existing 11 plants in Japan, China, and India in the Asia Pacific, as well as in the United Kingdom, France and North America.

The new manufacturing facility in i-TechValley, with an estimated built-up area of 90,000 square feet on a 6-acre land, is expected to be operational in 2025.

Leading integrated industrial space solutions provider Elite Consortium Berhad broke ground for the RM108 million manufacturing facility for Bucher Emhart Glass at i-Park@Senai Airport City i-Park Malaysia, three months after signing the initial agreement.

The groundbreaking signifies the commencement of the construction phase for the new manufacturing facility, which is scheduled to be completed in 2024. With an estimated built-up area of approximately 300,000 square feet, the facility represents a substantial investment by Bucher Emhart Glass to expand its manufacturing capabilities in Southeast Asia.
