APA have come out with a fact sheet differentiating the roles of a physiotherapist and exercise physiologist.

In Malaysia, depending on the types of clinical settings, physios and exercise physiologists work together as an MDT.

This info may come as useful for us to improve our understanding of other healthcare professions and to impart this knowledge to the public.

p/s: Please note that the role of physios in Australia may differ slightly than in Malaysia

The National Physiotherapy Workshop 2022 has come to an end. Organising four workshops that ran simultaneously for 3 consecutive days was no easy feat.

Kudos to our team who was in charge of the Level 1 Dry Needling Certification from the beginning right until the end. Thank you to MPA Excos and SIG leaders and team members who had been supportive and resourceful throughout this event. Thank you to our speaker, Jane Rooney, as well as Australian Physiotherapy Association for creating an evidence-based syllabus to ensure safety and effectiveness of this approach for our patients.

Most importantly, thank you to ALL participants who made it happen. See you again in the next event!
