Did you know that it’s now illegal for any business other than a pharmacy to sell v**es or va**ng products in Australia, regardless of if they have ni****ne in them or not?

Ni****ne v**es are only available from pharmacies to help people quit smoking or manage ni****ne dependence.

Until 30 September 2024, anyone wanting to purchase a v**e will need a prescription.

From 1 October 2024, people 18 years or over can buy ni****ne v**es without a prescription.

Changes to the law are designed to target commercial and criminal supply of illegal v**es. People who have a v**e for their personal use will not be targeted or penalised.
