The KPF dental Group Practice (KPF DGP) was first set up in May 1993 in Shah Alam, Malaysia. It was a one chair dental set up , manned by the owner and founder Dr Firdaus Hanapiah who was then still doing his Postgraduate studies in the UK. He then handed it over to his colleague and person in charge (PIC) , Dr Naseem Ghazali . The practice , changed PIC in 1994 as Dr Naseem had the opportunity to study overseas . It was taken over by Dr Maryna Nordin until she left to set up her own practice in 1998 . In 1996 Dr Firdaus came back to Malaysia after successfully completing his Masters degree as well as his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeon England. He was then appointed as a clinical lecturer at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the the University of Malaya , Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. He then took a position as a part time consultant for the KPF DGP. In the year 2000 a second branch was opened in Kg Tunku, Petaling Jaya and later the Bangsar Dental Specialist Centre was acquired in 2007. The Shah Alam clinic was then shifted from section 8 to section 7 Shah Alam. The year 2010 was a great year, as we opened our dental clinic in the Avisena Specialist Hospital. Here we were able to offer operating theatre services in both daycare as well as more complex cases where we can ward our patients. Persona Restorative Clinic in Subang Jaya was acquired in 2012. It is in a great location, next door to the Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre, Lagoon and Resort. Our branch in Klang was open in 2012 , It is a great dental centre with a wide array of dental treatments offered. Modena dental clinic was started in 2015 with its state of the art equipment ready made for the era of digital dentistry which included six dental chairs and a Cone Beam CT Scan that serve all the other clinics surrounding Shah Alam and beyond. The KPF Dental Group practice has almost thirty years of experience to serve the public.
