Nepenthes is another name for the tropical pitcher plant. A unique type of plant that thrive in tropical weather. This carnivorous plant is found abundance in the land of Borneo. The unique attribute of Nepenthes has captivated the artisan to exhibit the beauty of it in this scarf. A drawing of Nepenthes luring the insects into it’s opening. 
The artisan has plotted a little twist to the scarf by placing a drawing of Daisies & Lilies in the square version of the scarf only.

Pua Kumbu is the Iban hand-woven textile, represents the heart of the Iban culture. Iban weaver believes that pua kumbu it is not just about weaving but a magical heritage waiting to be lived for aeons to come. It is a tradition which combines art and nature. Similar to the batik which is popular in the East Coast that upholds the same value. Dayang is an epitome of Borneo textile combine with the East Coast heritage of batik. A combination of pua kumbu pattern with flora of batik canting. A true love story.

Colour: light green base & dark green border. multi colour motifs.

Monochrome pattern is evergreen design. The artisan encapsulated the same motifs of Islamic pattern once drawn on collection Murunah Pleated Shawl - Ukhuwah in this square design. Only available in black for this testing phase, if everything goes well, might produce in various colours.
