When it comes to children pocket money, I often see parents doing these:

👉Provide meals for children in school, hence there is no need to give pocket money to children as children have nothing to buy.
👉Give money upon request by teacher or tuition teacher, assuming children do not need extra money unless there are special events
👉Pay pocket money to children for house chores done.
👉Pocket money is used as a means of reward and punishment for children on academic achievement. If the test result is good, there will be more pocket money, and if the test is bad, there will be less.

Giving children pocket money should ❌ be an economic behavior, but ✅ an educational behavior. It is a process to let the children experience growth in various areas.
