INFO: Good news for our members! Junior golfers aged 17 years and below can now practice and play at ⛳️ facilities as long as they're accompanied by FULLY-VACCINATED parents/guardians.

Please note that this is subject to the individual golf facility's internal COVID-19 policies and regulations.

MSOP: The Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) have clarified that junior golfers aged 17 years and below are ALLOWED ✅ to practice and play at ⛳ facilities as long as they are accompanied by FULLY-VACCINATED parents/guardians.

Golf facilities in states under Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) are also reminded to operate with 60% of their staff on-site at any one time and to renew their MITI letter through the Covid-19 Intelligent Management System under "Sports" cluster.

ANNOUNCEMENT: MYFutures Junior Golf has postponed the Four-Ball Championship scheduled for June 1-3, 2021 due to the current Movement Control Order and the worsening COVID-19 situation in Malaysia. New dates will be announced at a later stage.

Another 🏆 in the bag for the MYFutures Junior Golf alumni!

COLLEGIATE: Audrey Tan triumphs at the Conference USA Championship on Wednesday for her maiden collegiate title.

The University of North Texas junior performed impressively, claiming a one-shot victory over Jane Melichova at nine-under-par on the back of rounds of 66-74-67.

"I had no idea I was in the lead or even close. To be able to do this is crazy. It honestly hasn't sunk in yet," said the Kuala Lumpur native, who birdied two of her last three holes to secure her win.

Tan's win helped the UNT women's golf team turn the tables on their opponents to earn a ticket to NCAA regionals.

MYFutures Junior Golf extends our sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies to our friends in the Thai junior golf fraternity on the demise of Thailand Junior Golf Federation secretary general and board member Assoc. Prof. Irawan Panitvong.

Mrs Irawan's passionate dedication to the cause of junior golf in this region was unparalleled. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
