The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) is a four year degree programme which offers an enriching experience to students under the tutelage of the University’s dedicated teaching staff. Our lecturers are active in research and publications. The dissemination of knowledge is enhanced by innovative teaching methods.

During the course, students are exposed to various student-linked experiences such as hospital pharmacy clerkship, community pharmacy clerkship, industrial training; visits to pharmaceutical industries, nursing homes and hospitals. Besides formal lectures, students also receive invaluable practical guidance from external partners, experienced industrial speakers, pharmacists and doctors.

Research is a significant component in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Lecturers who are also experienced researchers lead the Faculty’s postgraduate programmes. This integration of coursework with research findings in our teaching enables learners to understand and extend their power of creative and critical thinking in their pursuit of new knowledge.
