Urgent Notice: West Malaysia Sea Freight Rate Third Adjustment

Dear customer,

Due to changes in international circumstances, some shipping routes have been cancelled, resulting in tight space availability and a shortage of containers. Consequently, sea freight prices have skyrocketed. Additionally, Malaysian customs have intensified inspections to combat underreporting and tax evasion. To ensure smooth customs clearance, the tax-inclusive sea freight charges have increased. This results from the sea freight market's imbalance between supply and demand. We kindly ask for your understanding. BuyMall has no choice but to adjust the sea freight rates accordingly. The rate for large parcels to West Malaysia will increase by RM40/m³. Therefore, we advise customers to promptly pay for their sea freight parcels.

Kind Reminder: Due to the container shortage, sea freight transit times are unstable. We recommend placing orders early or opting for air freight to avoid delays that could prevent the timely delivery of urgent items, thus causing unnecessary losses.

The updated sea freight price list is now available, and the new rates will take effect on 17 Jun 2024. If you have any questions, please contact BuyMall customer service.

Starting from March 13th, strict customs inspection in Malaysia air freight will result in extended clearance time. Additionally, due to the fasting month, local delivery timelines will also be affected.
