Mentee: L&D Professional – Kirthana Ravintharan
My experience as a mentee provided me with invaluable insights, guidance, and support from my mentor, Regina Morris, accelerating my personal and professional growth. She provided many resources, including connections to reach out to. Throughout this journey, I learned not only from my mentor but also from other mentees, sharing and gaining different perspectives. It was enlightening to see things from other angles and experience growth both personally and professionally. The mentorship capstone project certainly contributed to my improvements in both life and work.

This usually results in a huge shift in confidence.

Can VILTs be as Engaging as F2F programmes?
The pandemic forced us to design (Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) programmes for seamless access that incorporated interactive elements and data-driven metrics. In them, we ensure that no learner is left behind by providing technical support and tailored, engaging content. Participants consistently share positive feedback, appreciating the engaging activities that maintain their attention. Post-pandemic, most clients have reverted to F2F training. But VILTs still serve as a needed alternative for a small percentage programmes. Discover how we have integrated instructional design principles that focus on engagement and practicality.
