📌 REGISTRAR'S DIRECTIVE 07 of 2024 - Beneficial Ownership for Entities with APRIL 2024 FINANCIAL YEAR-END

Business entities should take note of the below Directive issued on Beneficial Ownership Compliance matters.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
This is a 7-day Notice to all non-compliant registered businesses, with a financial year-end of APRIL 2024 that have not lodged their Beneficial Ownership (BO) Declarations with BIPA. It further calls on such businesses to rectify their BO compliance status by or before 11 June 2024, failure to which sanctions may be issued to such businesses. These entities have already been added to an Inactive List, together with other non-compliant entities. The Inactive List is available on the BIPA website.

Business entities that were previously given notice and have not complied to date, remains on the Inactive List and have been sanctioned.
