A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco. “Mom and Dad, I’m coming home, but I’ve a favor to ask. I have a friend I’d like to bring home with me. “Sure,” they replied, “we’d love to meet him.”

“There’s something you should know,” the son continued, “he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us.”

“I’m sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live.”

“No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us.”

“Son,” said the father, “you don’t know what you’re asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can’t let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He’ll find a way to live on his own.”

At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was su***de.

The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn’t know, their son had only one arm and one leg.

Moral: The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don’t like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren’t as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are. Thankfully, there’s someone who won’t treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messed up we are. Tonight, before you tuck yourself in for the night, say a little prayer that God will give you the strength you need to accept people as they are, and to help us all be more understanding of those who are different from us!

On a hot summer day, A little boy and his mother were inside a lake house. Little boy decided to go for a swim in lake behind his house. Boy was really excited to go into lake and swim in cool lake so he just ran out.

Boy went into lake and swam far without realizing that he swan right into middle of that lake. Boy’s mother looked out of window and saw an alligator approaching toward his son.

As she saw both of them getting closer to each other, she ran toward little boy and yelled as loud as she could. She shouted about alligator approaching him and asked him to swim back toward house.

Hearing voice of his mother, boy got alarmed and made U-turn to swim towards his mother but it was too late. Just as mother reached her little boy and grabbed his arm, at same moment alligator snatched on his legs.

That began a tug war between two. Alligator was too strong but mother was too passionate to let her son go.

At same time, a farmer happen to pass by and heard scream of little boy and his mother. Farmer raced toward lake and took his aim at alligator and shot him.

Remarkable, after getting treated for weeks in hospital boy survived.

A newspaper reporter came to interview boy after incident and asked him about the incident. Boy lifted his pants from legs which was extremely scarred by the vicious attack of animal.

But then, with pride he said to reporters, “Look at my arms. I have great scars on my arms too.”

Newspaper reporter, “Why these scars are great??”

Boy replied, “I have these scars on arm because my mom wouldn’t let go..”

Moral:
Similarly in our Life we have Scars from painful past. Sometimes, we foolishly made into difficult situations and we forget that enemy is waiting.
That’s when Tug of war begin Between Life and God. That’s why Some wounds we have because God wouldn’t let go. We should be very Grateful to God for being there with us.

One evening, a son took his father to a restaurant. After getting seated there. Son called waiter and ordered food.

Father was old and weak because of this while eating food, his father dropped food on his short and trousers.

While son was calming having food with father, other diners sitting there looked at them with disgust. Every one sitting there were watching them with disgust, as father was not able to eat properly and dropping food. Even when all the diners were staring at them still son didn’t seem to be embarrassed by all this.

After they finished eating, son quietly took his father to wash room, wiped the food dropped on his shirt and trousers, combed his hairs and fitted his spectacles firmly.

When they came out of washroom, all diners sitting there watched them in dead silence and were not able to grasp how someone could embarrass themselves publicly like that..!!

Son payed bill and started to walk out of restaurant with his father.

At that time, one of the old man among-st diners called out to young man and said, “Don’t you think you have left behind something??”

Young man replied, “No sir, i haven’t..”

Old ma retorted, “Yes you have…!! You have left a lesson for every son and hope for every father..”

Moral:
When we are small and did silly things in public, our parents never feel embarrass about it then why don’t children take their old parents out in public and spend time with them without feeling embarrassed??

Always Love and Care for Your Parents When they Get Old. We should Learn to Respect and Care for parents When they need it most. Never Make them feel Unwanted Because they are the one Who Always love us Unconditionally all their Life Even when we Make Mistakes.

Once, there was this guy, who was in love with a girl. She wasn’t the most beautiful and gorgeous but for him, she was everything. He used to dream about her, about spending the rest of life with her. His friends told him, “why do you dream so much about her, when you don’t even know if she loves you or not? First tell her your feelings, and get to know if she likes you or not”.

He felt that was the right way. The girl knew from the beginning, that this guy loves her. One day when he proposed, she rejected him. His friends thought he would take alcohol, drugs etc and ruin his life. To their surprise, he was not depressed.

When they asked him how was it that he is not sad, he replied, “‘why should I feel bad? I lost one who never loved me and she lost the one who really loved and cared for her.”

Moral: True Love is Hard to Get. Love is all about giving to other person without greed of gaining anything in return, if other person rejects it, its him/her who will be losing the most important thing in life. So never feel dejected.

Ever since the beginning The girl’s family member disagree her relationship with the boy. Saying that because of family background, if she insist of being together with the boy, she’ll suffer for her whole lifetime.

Because of the pressure applied by family members, she frequently quarrel with him. The girl does love the boy, she used to ask him, “How much do you love me?” Because the boy is not good with words, he used to make her angry. With additional comment from her parents, her mood get even worse. The boy, has become her “anger releasing target”. And the boy, just silently allowed her to continuously release her anger on him.

Later, the boy graduated from University. He plan to further study overseas but before he left. He proposed to the girl… ” I, don’t know how to say nice words but I do know that, I love you. If you agree, I am willing to take care of you, the whole life. About your family members, I will work hard to convince them and agree on us.”

“Marry me, will you?”, the girl agreed.

And her parents, looking at the effort shown by the boy, agreed with them. Finally, before the boy go oversea, they are engaged. The girl stay back in the hometown, step into the working society where as the boy continuing his study oversea. They maintained their relationship through telephone and letters. Although time is difficult to get through with, but both of them never give up.

One day, the girl left home for work as usual on her way to the bus stop, a car lose control and knock her down. As she awake from unconsciousness, she saw her parents and realize how seriously she got hurt and how fortunate of her, not to get killed.
Looking at her parents, with their faced got all wet by their tears, she tried to comfort them. But then, she found out that She can’t even spell out a word, she tried her best to make some voice but all she managed, was to breath without any voice. She’s mute. According to the doctor, the injury affected her brain, and that cause her to be mute for the rest of her life. Listening to her parents persuade, but can’t even reply with a single word, the girl collapsed. Throughout the days, others than crying silently, still it is crying.

Later, the girl discharged from hospital. Returning to her home, everything is still like before. Except that the phone ring, has turned into the worst nightmare of hers. Ring after ring, continuously stimulate her, stimulating her pain But she can’t tell the boy. She don’t want to be a burden to him, and wrote him a letter telling him that she no longer want to wait, the relationship between them ended, and even returned him the engagement ring. Facing the letters and telephone from the boy, all she can do, is to allow tears falling from her eyes.
Her father decided to move, after seeing the pain she is suffering. Hoping that she could forget everything and be happier into a new environment, the girl started to learn, slowly picking up sign language and start over again. Also telling herself to forget the boy.

One day, her best friend tell her that the boy’s back. He’s searching all around for her, she asked her best friend not to tell him about her and asked her to tell him to forget her. After that for more than a year there was no news of boy. One day her best friend tells her, that the boy is getting married soon, and passed the Wedding Card to her. She open the card sadly, but she found her name on the card.

The moment she want to ask her best friend, the boy appear in front of her. With an unfamiliar sign language, he told her ”I spent more than a year’s time, to force myself to learn sign language, in order to tell you, I have not forgot our promise, give me an opportunity, let me be your voice. I love you.”Looking at the slow sign language by the boy, and the engagement ring she gave back to him, She finally smiled.

Moral: Do not be a coward and run away whenever there is a problem, remember that every problem has a solution, never ever break someone’s heart, you may not know when it will happen to you.

Once upon a time there was a lion that grew so old that he was unable to kill any prey for his food. So, he said to himself, I must do something to stay my stomach else I will die of starvation.
He kept thinking and thinking and at last an idea clicked him. He decided to lie down in the cave pretending to be ill and then who-so-ever will come to inquire about his health, will become his prey. The old lion put his wicked plan into practice and it started working. Many of his well-wishers got killed. But evil is short lived.

One day, a fox came to visit the ailing lion. As foxes are clever by nature, the fox stood at the mouth of the cave and looked about. His sixth sense worked and he came to know the reality. So, he called out to the lion from outside and said, How are you, sir?

The lion replied, I am not feeling well at all. But why don’t you come inside?

Then the fox replied, I would love to come in, sir! But on seeing, all foot prints going to your cave and none coming out, I would be foolish enough to come in.

Saying so, the fox went to alert the other animals.

Moral: Always Keep Your Eyes Open and Stay Alert before Walking in Any Situation.

Brother’s Love

In hospital, there was little girl who was suffering from a very rare and serious disease. She had little brother who was just 5 years old.

Her brother himself was suffering from same disease and miraculously he survived and had developed antibodies to combat that illness.

Doctors found that girls only chance of recovery is blood transfusion from her 5 years old brother.

Doctors knew it will be a long process and boy had to go through medical process for transfusion so they decided to ask him first and make him comfortable before going ahead with transfusion.

So a doctor went to little kid and asked him, “If you give your blood to your sister then she will be healthy again. Are you willing to give your blood to your sister??”

Kid hesitated for a while and then said, “Yes, I will do it. If it will save her..”

After the transfusion process started, boy was lying next to her sister’s bed smiling. slowly his smile faded and he looked up to doctor and asked in trembling voice, “Will i die right away??”

Boy misunderstood doctors when they asked him about giving blood to his sister.

Doctor looked at innocent boy and thought to himself, “Boy thought that he had to give all the blood to her sister and after that he will die and yet he agreed to give blood to her and gave up his life for her.”

Doctor went to boy and cleared what he had misunderstood.

Once day, father was doing some work and his son came and asked, “Daddy, may I ask you a question?” Father said, “Yeah sure, what it is?” So his son asked, “Dad, how much do you make an hour?” Father got bit upset and said, “That’s none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?” Son said, “I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?” So, father told him that “I make Rs. 500 per hour.”

“Oh”, the little boy replied, with his head down. Looking up, he said, “Dad, may I please borrow Rs. 300?” The father furiously said, “if the only reason you asked about my pay is so that you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or other nonsense, then march yourself to your room and go to bed. Think why you are being so selfish. I work hard every day and do not like this childish behavior.”

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy’s questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think, “May be there was something he really needed to buy with that Rs. 300 and he really didn’t ask for money very often!” The man went to the door of little boy’s room and opened the door. “Are you a sleep, son?” He asked. “No daddy, I’m awake,” replied the boy. “I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier”, said the man. “It’s been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you, Here’s the Rs.300 you asked for”.

The little boy sat straight up, smiling “oh thank you dad!” He yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled some crippled up notes. The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at his father.

“Why do you want money if you already had some?” the father grumbled. “Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,” the little boy replied. “Daddy I have Rs. 500 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you”. Father was dumbstruck.

Moral: It’s just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life! We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.

It’s story of a Boy and Girl. They were best friend for years and used to talk on phone for hours and text each other whole day. There wouldn’t be a day on which they didn’t contact and talk to each other. Everything was great. They used to be happy in each other company and enjoy.

But one day boy didn’t call of replied to girl for a day. Girl got worried and knew something was wrong. At night in her room she was crying and at that time she realized that how much he meant to her.

Next day in morning she got a call. It was from boy.

Boy: Hi
Girl: I am so glad that you called, What happened to you yesterday?
Boy: i was busy.

(After silence for min)

Boy: I think we should stop talking.
Girl: What? but why?
Boy: Sorry. Bye.

After this boy disconnected call. Girl was shocked. She couldn’t understand anything and was feeling lonely, rejected and broken. After thinking she decided to make a last try to get him back. So, She called him.

Girl: Hi
Boy: Why are you calling me?
Girl: I need to ask u something.
Boy: Go ahead
Girl (With heavy heart): Are you alright?
She tried to talk but she thought may be he really doesn’t care. She broke off and left her house leaving a note.

Few hours later boy got a call. It was to inform him that girl got hit by a car and her condition was serious. Boy rushed to hospital and went to see her. He was sitting beside her holding her hand.

Boy: I am sorry it’s all my fault But.. i promise i will make it up to u.
Girl: I am not gonna get better!!
Boy: Don’t say that.
Girl: Just tell me one thing why you asked me to leave?

To this question of her boy tell her the truth that he has heart problem and he didn’t wanted her to get worried because there was risk that he would die.

Boy continued ans said, “I did this because I Love You…!!”
I Love u Too.. Girl said and her heart stop beating. Just after 10 mins boy also died because of heart attack. As he could live with the thought that she died because of him.

Moral:
If you Love someone then Don’t hold back your Feelings. Never hide your problems and feeling from the one who cares for you and Love you.

When I was a kid, my Mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made dinner after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my Mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all dad did was reached for his biscuit, smile at my Mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don’t remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my Mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I’ll never forget what he said: “Honey, I love burned biscuits.”
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, “Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she’s real tired. And besides – a little burned biscuit never hurt anyone!”

Moral: Life is full of imperfect things and imperfect people. I’m not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else. But what I’ve learned over the years is that learning to accept each others faults – and choosing to celebrate each others differences – is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

An old man lived alone in Minnesota. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation:

Dear Son, I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden because your mother always loved planting time. I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren’t in prison. Love, Dad Shortly, the old man received this telegram: ‘For Heaven’s sake, Dad, don’t dig up the garden!! That’s where I buried the GUNS!!’ At 4 a.m. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns. Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what had happened, and asked him what to do next. His son’s reply was: ‘Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad. It’s the best I could do for you, from here.’

Moral: No Matter where you are in the World, If you have decided to do something deep from your heart, you can do it. It is the thought that matters, not where you are or where the person is.

He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, took a napunder the shadow.. he loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad. ‘Come and play withme’ the tree asked the boy. ‘I am no longer a kid, I do not play around treesany more’ the boy replied. ‘I want toys. I need money to buy them.’ ‘Sorry, butI do not have money.. but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you willhave money.’ The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree andleft happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree wassad.

One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned and the tree was excited‘Come and play with me’ the tree said. ‘I do not have time to play. I have towork for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?” Sorry, but Ido not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.’ Sothe man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad tosee him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonelyand sad.

One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted. ‘Come andplay with me!’ the tree said. ‘I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relaxmyself. Can you give me a boat?’ said the man. ‘Use my trunk to build your boat.You can sail far away and be happy.’ So the man cut the tree trunk to make aboat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the man returned after many years. ‘Sorry, my boy. But I do not haveanything for you anymore. No more apples for you’ the tree said. ‘No problem, Ido not have any teeth to bite’ the man replied. ‘No more trunk for you to climbon’ the tree said. ‘I am too old for that now’ the man said. ‘I really cannotgive you anything.. the only thing left is my dying roots’ the tree said withtears. ‘I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all theseyears’ the man replied. ‘Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on andrest, Come, come sit down with me and rest.’ The man sat down and the tree wasglad and smiled with tears..

Moral: The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mum and Dad.. When we grow up, we leave them.. only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy. You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents. We take them for granted we don’t appreciate all they do for us until it’s too late.

Girl smiled and accepted his proposal. Soon they both got married and lived a happy life for a while. With time young couple began to drift apart because of their busy schedule. Due to daily worries and work their life became difficult.

With each passing day couple started to have quarrels and with this their relation got affected badly with time it became worse.

One day after fight girl ran out of the house and shouted to her husband, “You don’t love me.”
Boy hated her silliness and out of impulse said, “May it was a mistake. You were never the missing part of my life!!”

Suddenly girl turned quiet and she knew spoken words can’t be taken back. With tears in her eyes she went home, pack her things and before leaving him left a note for him.

Note said, “May be I was never missing part of your life, let me go and search for some who is…. Lets go our separate ways. This way it would be less painful.”

Five year passed..

Boy never married again but he used to keep information about girl somehow. He knew that she had left country and was living her dreams. He used to regret about what happened but never went to girl and tried to patch up. He never wanted to accept the fact that he missed her and still missing her in his life.

One day at the airport while he was going away on business trip he saw her. She was standing alone just few steps away. She saw him and smiled at him gently.

Boy asked, “How are you?”
Girl replied, “I am fine how about you? did you find love of your life?”
Boy answered, “No..”
Girl said, “I will be flying in next flight.”
Boy said, “I will be back in 2 week. Give me a call then..”

Girl smiled and waved goodbye to him.

Same evening boy heard of plane crash. Same plane on which girl went. Boy tried to found about her and he got to know that she was dead. Once again like before he felt pain of missing her. he finally knew that she was the missing part that he had broken carelessly and now she was gone forever.

Moral:
Sometimes people say things out of anger but we should not act in impulse and try to think wisely and give time because a moment of anger could result in lifetime of punishment.

A couple had been married for 10 years but they didn’t had any child. They stayed with each other and really hoped that they will have a child before their 11th anniversary. Their family and friends were pursuing them to get a divorce but they didn’t wanted to get separated because of strong love between them.

Months passed.

One day while husband was returning home from work, he saw his wife walking down street with a man. They were looking very happy. After a week again husband saw his wife with same man again. Husband saw them many times roaming places with each other. Hugging each other.

One evening while husband was returning home, He saw that man dropped her off with a good bye kiss on her cheek. Husband got angry and sad.

After a hectic day at work, Husband was home. While he was holding a glass jug to get water, Phone rang. He received the call. As soon as he picked the call voice came form other side saying, “Hello dear, I will be coming to your home this evening to see you as i promise, I hope..”

Husband hung up call before hearing any further. Husband thought to himself, “It was male voice and i am sure it’s same person i have seen with my wife many times.” He thought he had lost his wife to another man and thinking that glass jug fell from his hand and shattered into pieces.

Listening to noise, his wife came running to him and asked, “Is everything okay??”

In anger he pushed his wife. She fell and wasn’t moving. Few seconds later husband realized that she fell on the broken jug pieces and a large piece has pierced her. Husband tried to feel her breath, heartbeat but there wasn’t any.

His wife was dead. He saw an envelope in her hand. He took it and read it. He was shocked by what was written in it.

It reads :
“My loving husband, words can’t express how i feel so… I had to write down this letter. I have been seeing a doctor for over a week and i wanted to be sure before giving you the big news.

Doctor have confirmed that i am pregnant. Our baby is due 5 months from now. Doctor i have been seeing is my long lost brother whom i contacted after our marriage. He promised me to take care of me and baby and will give us best care without any fee.

He promised to have dinner with us tonight. I had to write to you because i am so happy. Thanks for staying by my side.

Your loving wife.”

Letter fell from his hands. At same time he heard knock on the door it was same man he had seen with his wife. He came in and said, “Hello, i am John, your wife’s brother…….” Suddenly he notice his sister lying in pool of her blood. He rushed her to hospital where she was confirmed dead.

Moral:
We should not be Quick to Judge Other person. In Relationships we should Try to talk and clear things. We should not let our Anger control us because Not everything we see or hear is true.!

Young Girl Love for Prince

In ancient china, It was tradition that if prince has to be married before he can become crowned emperor. There was a prince who was about to be crowned. So he needed to find a young woman whom he could trust and get married to.

Once there was a who had to be crowned in few days so Prince decided to summon all the young women from his kingdom in order to find most worthy candidate.

There was an old lady who used to serve at palace. When heard the news she got sad because she knew her daughter nurtured a secret love for prince. After getting home she told her daughter about it. Her daughter decided that she would go to palace. Old lady got worried after knowing her decision.

Old lady said to her daughter, “What will you do there?? There will be all beautiful and rich girls from kingdom will be present there..”

Daughter replied, “Mother I know i won’t be chosen but it’s my only chance to spend time with prince and that makes me happy. I will go to palace tomorrow.”

Next day when young girl reached palace, she saw young women from all around kingdom were present there wearing beautiful cloths and jewelry, prepared to do anything to seize this opportunity to marry prince.

In presence of all members of court and girls prince announced a challenge.

He said, “I will give you each a seed. After six months time, young woman who brings me the loveliest flower will be my wife and future empress.”

All girls took seed and left. Poor young girl also took her seed and planted it in a pot. She nurtured and took care of it with love. She believed that her love is true and flower will grow as large as her love for prince.

Girl saw that no shoot appeared even after three months have passed and nothing had grown in her pot. Young girl consulted farmers, peasants but nothing happened. With each days he felt that her dream have moved father away.

At last six months were over and still nothing had grown in that pot. She knew she had no flower to show still she decided to go back to palace with that pot. She reached palace on final day.

On final day all court member and girls arrived. She saw that all other candidates had wonderful results and each one had lovely flower, she was the only one holding a flowerless pot.

Finally, prince entered courtroom and inspected all candidates pot and announced result. He chose Servant’s daughter poor young girl as his would be wife.

All other girls present there got angry and protested that she had nothing in her pot and prince had chosen someone who had not managed to grow anything at all.

Prince calmed them down and explained the reason.

Prince said, “This young woman was the only one who cultivated the flower that made her worthy of becoming the empress: the flower of honesty. All the seeds I handed out were sterile and nothing could ever have grown from them.”

Moral:
We should not feel Disappointed if Things doesn’t go Way we think it should be. We should have Confidence and Stay Honesty and True because Honesty is best Policy.
