Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami will face Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr next February in the Riyadh Season Cup for what could be the final showdown of the global football icons.

Eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi, who joined the US squad in July and sparked a championship run in the Leagues Cup against US and Mexican clubs, is expected to meet Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Messi, 36, led Argentina to last year’s World Cup crown and has long been a rival of Portugal captain Ronaldo, 38.

Inter Miami was named the guest international side and will join Saudi Pro League sides Al-Hilal and Al Nassr in next February’s Riyadh Season Cup.

Davido announces $10,000 reward to a Hotel Staff, Ngozi Mary who returned customer's $70,000

Nigerian International afro-beat singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has announced a reward of $10,000 USD (approximately N8 million Naira) to a staff of Eko Hotel and Suites, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, for returning customer's money.

AbaCityBlog reports that Ms Ngozi Mary has been celebrated for being honest, which made her return the misplaced $70,000 to a customer in Lagos.

Reacting to a post, Davido quoted a tweet by Nigerian announcing that someone should locate the lady for him, announcing that he has a $10,000 reward for her honesty and Integrity.

"Find her for me … I donate $10k", Davido tweeted.

Justice Ugo Resigns, Citing Demands to 'Kneecap' Democracy, Says 'Siding with Tinubu' Would Mean 'The Death of Nigeria's Democracy

In a shocking and unusual move, Nigerian Justice Boloukuoromo M. Ugo has resigned from the bench, citing demands from the executive branch that he believes would destroy the country's democracy.

In a statement released, Justice Ugo said that siding with the government on this matter would be the 'death of Nigeria's democracy', and that he could not in good conscience remain silent.

His resignation has sent shockwaves through the country. It has also raised serious questions about the state of Nigeria's democratic institutions.

According to Justice Ugo's statement, he was asked to 'cripple the independence of the judiciary' by ruling in favor of a certain political candidate, whom he did not name but is widely believed to be Bola Tinubu.

Furthermore , he was asked to suppress evidence and dismiss cases that could have an impact on the election. Justice Ugo's resignation has caused a serious uproar and a set back to the activities of the Presidential Election Petition Court.

President Peter Obi, My Inspiration!

As a student in campus, I lived in self-delusion. I started out with comedy skits (the only skit makers then were Basketmouth and Bovi), and I did a horrible job. After my failed comedy career, I started doing battle rap.

I’d not say my rap was that bad, cause I never lost a battle, but I knew I couldn’t compete on a global stage. My attempt to create a unique sound (rapping to uhuru styled beats) wasn’t working.

One day, HE Peter Obi came to our campus for a business seminar. Normally I wouldn’t attend a seminar then, but bcos I thought he’d be sharing money to SUG, I went. Normally when big men or politicians come, they share money. Well, he didn’t give shi shi.

Instead, he gave the greatest speech I’ve ever heard in my life. He spoke about his business journey and I was inspired. Then he said something that stuck with me.

“The marketcap of Facebook is bigger than the GDP of Nigeria”. When I heard it, I did math in my head. If I could create 1% of Facebook, I’d be a billionaire.

I went on google, I checked wizkid net worth. It was like $1M then. I checked Davido, like $2M. I checked American artistes, their money still small. I checked Mark Zuckerberg, billions.

I deleted all the beats in my phone, downloaded EDX and right in the seminar there, registered for a coding course.

Ladies and gentlemen, that was how I left rapping to enter tech.

After 2 months after the seminar, I launched my first startup. It was a campus newspaper and online radio. I had about 100 volunteers join and work on the project. It was very popular on campus. Obviously crashed, but I learnt from it.

If not for Peter Obi, I’d have been smoking w**d with other middle aged upcoming rappers, arguing Wizkid vs Davido and chasing shadows.

This happened way before 2019 elections, so it was a no brainer. When he joined PDP, I registered too. When he was picked as VP, I mobilized everyone I could for him. I also did mobilization at my polling unit in 2019, and PDP swept the unit.

2023, I flew down to Nigeria to vote for him. 40+ hours journey, but I didn’t care. I also donated as much as I could to the campaign.

Peter Obi made me move from rapping to tech, and pulled me and my family out of everlasting sapa. I’m forever grateful to him for inspiring me. My prayer is that God will continue to use him to inspire more Africans to create innovative companies. Isee

Operatives of INTERPOL in Nigeria have arrested one Abayomi Segun Oluwasesan, who hacked his company’s blockchain and made away with approximateky $87m.

He was working at Afriq Arbitrage System, a global crypto space, was arrested earlier in the week alongside his accomplice.

He was employed by the company on June 15, 2022 to work as a web developer and hacked the platform at a time when his boss, Jesam Micheal went for a liver transplant and entrusted the codes to him all because his boss entrusted him with the sensitive data for the smooth operations of the company and ended up stealing about $87 million which he spent flamboyantly.

He opened a car dealership known as Fidoray Autos and imported over 30 exotic wonders on wheels. He also brought a house and acquired a residence permits in the U.K., same as Tanzania and Dubai, UAE.

One of the plazas he acquired in Lagos was to the tune of N450 million, landed properties around Dangote refineries to the tune of N1 billion, and splashed a billion naira on the interior decoration of his hotel in Mainland, Lagos State. He was traveling across the globe with investors’ money on first-class tickets.

Unfortunately, this criminal and dubious activity by him literally crashed the lucrative platform on the May 15, 2023 sending the man back to square one.

This is disheartening. Outside the physical assets, the man may not get back his and his client's lost money.
