Naira hits new low as it trades at N719 to a dollar

The exchange rate between the naira and the U.S. dollar at the parallel market traded at N719 on Friday, September 23.

Checks by Peoples Gazette showed the current parallel market rate pegged at N719 to a dollar and N880 to a pound on the parallel exchange platform Aboki Forex.

As at Tuesday, September 20, the naira was pegged at N700 to a dollar at the black market.

Nigeria’s external reserve stood at $38.51 billion as of 21st September 2022, a slight decline of 0.07% from $38.54 billion recorded as of the previous day. The nation’s foreign reserve has been on a downward trend due to the constant intervention by the CBN in the official market to maintain the stability of the local currency.

She died yesterday because she was chasing her husband in her Highlander Jeep after she saw her husband with another woman in her husband's car.

She wanted to catch her husband with his side chick red-handed as she saw her husband coming out from SPAR and attempted to block him with her own car,her husband quickly maneuvered his way out from there and the wife engaged him in a very serious pursuit with her own car,but in a bid to outrun her speeding husband she lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road.

She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Her husband was said to be weeping and asking her dead body to forgive him and asking her to come back and raise the 3 kids with him.

Doe I didnt Date my Husband for long (Close to 1 year or Less),what I saw in him before Marriage gradually Disappeared within the 1st Trimester of my 1st Pregnancy.(Pregnancy palava really dealt with me but is a Story for another day).He started Chatting Nawty with Female friends,doing unusual tinz and avoiding staying close to me cz d female friend might Call him anytime.(I asked him What I did wrong for him to Start the infidelity Life Style,was it a crime to conceive after marriage or was it my Fault that I had been Vomiting,loosing strength and visiting hospital cz of Pregnancy palava).His answer was really Out of point .But Forgave him after his plead .Fast forward to my 2nd and 3rd same attitude and Got Worse each day and I keep Tolerating,as a matter of fact the Love is no longer there.

Someone who I taught was Churchous and even some refer him as Pastor cz his so Calm and Gentle manly."BIG YES" He tries as Much as possible to Cater for Welfare of himself and Kids but on the Long run Neglect that of his Wife. He rather helps and buys for an outsider to gain that "Wow ,this man is a gentleman and his wife is enjoying"

I dropped my work cz of the stress and learnt a skill before Wedding ,Hoping to Start up my own shop after Putting to bed but within that period in as much as money wasnt coming in much and we wia managing,I ask him for 1k or more ,He will Directly render Insult on me and has been doing it even till Date,that made me start Hustling on my own even few weeks or a month after delivery.

Note:Feeding,Accommodation and Kids Welfare thats all he does and his trying,I applaud him for that but neglecting most of the Wife Priorities .

Before he helps grant my needs,he will be expecting me to get huge amount of money so he will just assist but If am not able to get it , that my need will wait till God knows when.
If he happen to assist me after much remembrance,quarrel that will come out when I ask /pleading and asking him to do ,Bad mouth must follow it,he will talk to me in the way that I will regret even asking for his assistant.

Nigerian woman gives birth aboard Turkey-UK flight

A Nigerian woman, Nweke Ifeoma gave birth to a baby on a Turkish Airlines during her flight from Istanbul, Turkey to Manchester, the United Kingdom on Monday.

According to Turkish-run news agency, Anadolu Agency said on Tuesday that the flight was diverted to Vienna International Airport, where paramedics were waiting for the woman and her new baby.

Another Ifeoma went into labour while on the flight but delivered of a baby girl on Monday.

A doctor who happened to be onboard and the crew helped Nigerian citizen Nweke Ifeoma deliver the baby. "Cabin crew members are trained for these type of situations," the statement added.

Have been having an affair with my elder brother's wife – Nigerian man reveals

I'm a 27 year old guy and I have been having an affair with my brother's wife for about five years now. They have been married for ten years and they only have one son who happens to be mine.

Nigerian man sends wife packing, after finding N3.6m in her account & their only son died because of N25k hospital bills

A family lost their son because both parents refused to pay for the child’s medical bills. Both the husband and the wife had money in their accounts but were arguing about who exactly would go ahead and pay for the hospital bill.

Eventually their disagreement went on for too long and their son unfortunately died.

The wife speaking out and trying to give her own side of the argument.

According to the story as reported by TVC, the wife said that up until the point when their son died, she had carried most of the financial burden of the household and claimed that her husband was irresponsible towards those burdens. She wanted the man to take accountability for his actions and finally provide for the health and wellness of their child and family.

She honestly thought her husband would rise to the occasion and never thought the child would eventually die. She maintained that the money in her account is her hard-earned money and that the man had no right to get angry and walk away from the marriage because she did not bring it out.

It is worthy of note to know that the medical bill in question was only N25,000. (Twenty five thousand naira)

The man eventually found out about the N3.6 million in the wife’s account when one day he went to pick up her phone to take a call and unfortunately for the woman, there on the phone was a bank alert notification that showed the amount of money in the woman’s account – over N3.6 Million.

So the child died because of N25,000 when there in the household was over N3.6 Million.
